4 DAMA Houston Board Positions 1. President run the chapter 2. VP Finance keep the books, manage the bank account, do the tax return 3. VP Membership manage the member list, develop way to make the organization more valuable to members and initiatives to promote membership. Encourage use of social media forums by members. 4. VP Programs organize the quarterly meeting, develop ideas to mix the format up a bit and make the meetings more interactive and valuable, enlist others to help organize specific meetings 5. VP Communications communication with members and manage the web site. Ensure that the organization s events and news is communicated consistently to all interested parties. Develop distribution lists of vendors, companies and anyone working in the information management space that might be interested in the activities of the group.

Board to prepare a proposal and presented to February member meeting 4. Member discussion and finalize nominees for each position 5. Vote by members for each position

One Data Specialty Examination: ICCP and Certification Database Administration Systems Development Data Warehousing Business Intelligence & Analytics Data & Information Quality Data Governance and Stewardship Systems Security Zachman Enterprise Architecture Framework Business Process Management Cost Tests are $299 each, and fees are only due if the test is passed.

Student $Free for individual students
