This includes the review, cnslidatin and crdinatin f existing asset management system elements and netwrk technlgy strategies. The branch is als respnsible fr managing end t end asset management business innvatin and prcesses, develping netwrk technlgy strategies and supprting majr asset management transfrmatin initiatives acrss the rganisatin within an industry underging significant business mdel transfrmatin. POSITION PURPOSE The purpse f the Manager Asset Management Strategy psitin is t supprt the Manager Netwrk Strategy in implementing and managing the verall asset management framewrk, strategies, and plicies t establish cmmn appraches t strategy develpment, planning and delivery that drive the netwrk investment prgrams (bth capital and peratinal expenditure), guide planning and service delivery activities within the rganisatin t achieve custmer and sharehlder value. This psitin is respnsible t lead the develpment, cnslidatin and crdinatin f asset management system elements, with particular fcus n asset management transfrmatin t meet the evlving needs f the energy industry. This includes the respnsibility fr asset management business strategies and plicies t supprt achievement f the asset management bjectives and alignment t the crprate strategic plans. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Asset Management Strategy Develp, implement and manage a cmmn asset management framewrk t better deliver custmer and sharehlder value Manage the nging integratin f crprate bjectives and plicies with the asset management bjectives. Ensure apprpriate integratin f the asset management system with ther business management systems (e.g. Safety, Envirnmental, Financial, Electrical Netwrk) Lead the develpment and management f technically and cmmercially effective asset management strategies and plicies Ensure that asset class, netwrk and supprt strategies align with asset management strategy and plicy Develp and manage the lng term strategic asset management plan that respnds t external influences and cmmercial cnstraints, whilst als cnsidering asset cnditin and reliability perfrmance and netwrk demand Ensure that the strategic asset management plan prvides clear guidance and parameters t facilitate investment priritisatin and allcatin Asset Management Capability Lead the develpment f strategies, and appraches fr the identificatin and develpment f asset management capability t embed sustainable asset management. Prmte and develp cmmercial acumen acrss the rganisatin with respect t sund business investment evaluatin and decisins. Supprt the develpment f the netwrk technlgy innvatin radmap, ensuring all the existing and future strategies and initiatives are cnsistent with the asset management and crprate bjectives. Review business cases fr key innvative r transfrmatin prjects t ensure accurate capture f bth benefits and implementatin cst, and t ensure business prcesses are adapted t derive maximum benefit frm the innvatin. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience A senir manager with demnstrated experience in asset management strategy and the develpment r peratinalising f strategy in large scale infrastructure peratins with significant weighting f experience in the electricity distributin industry. Demnstrated experience in reviewing, develping and implementing systems, plicies and prcedures in an engineering envirnment. High level ral and written cmmunicatin skills, with strng interpersnal and facilitatin skills and demnstrated capacity t cnsult and negtiate effectively with cntractrs, suppliers and internal and external stakehlders t gain cmmitment t agreed utcmes. Demnstrated management and rganisatinal skills, with prven capacity t manage grups with a diverse range f skill sets with cmpeting pririties and deliver apprpriate quality utcmes t meet the agreed timeframes and budgets.
