Solution scenario is based on direct engagement with our global ISV Partners (survey, technical conference, etc.) 2 main asks surfaced: Need better translation tools and support Provide access to and leverage Microsoft ERP linguistic assets Solution key design considerations: User friendly Leverage existing technologies as much as possible Easy servicing Usage control (IP, terms of use) Version 1 Beta version was validated and tested by ISV Partners before general availability 7

8 Version 1 Solution Current status Went live in February 2015 on Microsoft LCS and PartnerSource sites ISV partners run the tool that automates the translation production steps 72 partners signed up so far to produce 154 language pairs 40% of requests are about adding a brand new language to our products Version 2 New Cloud-hosted service version under development ETA Q4 CY16 Unified E2E experience for all supported products, translation production steps are run as a service Adding support for Dynamics CRM 8

14 Microsoft Translator Hub Machine translation solution built on top of Microsoft Bing Translator (from Microsoft Research) Cloud Service built on Windows Azure easy sign up experience Allows for domain specific customization (e.g. ERP terminology) Language availability - virtually unlimited Supports TMX, XLIFF, TXT, HTML, DOCX, XLSX and PDF document formats Web based collaboration tool allows designated reviewers to further enhance the translation quality Accessible through APIs and many CAT tools Data transaction through API is free up to 2M characters/month

15 How ISVs leverage MT Hub Machine translation output is ERP domain specific: Microsoft provides MT Hub systems trained with our ERP linguistic assets ISV partners can also train MT Hub systems with their own ERP linguistic assets Review and post-editing of machine translated content is strongly recommended.
