8 05 Preventative Maintenance Planned and preventive maintenance Work Orders offer great flexibility in managing different types of maintenance activities. offers full flexibility in defining maintenance schedules for preventive maintenance. The actual generation of the preventive Work Orders can be automated. Just like ad hoc Work Orders, preventive Work Orders will appear in the to-do list of the maintenance planner to be assigned to the technicians or engineers. Purchase contracts Support for purchase contracts with thirdparty vendors is also possible. These purchase contracts can be defined for hours and items. When entering hours or items on a task, will detect whether hours or items are linked to a purchase contract. Dynamics Maintenance Management will automatically alert the user that specific purchase contracts exist for the data entered. Fleet Maintenance In the same way that equipment can be managed, it is similarly possible to manage fleet management using Dynamics Maintenance Management. Specific fleet registration can be extended with information on the fleet. The Property Sheets can be used to extend the information source for more specific fleet, vehicle or driver information. Mileage, fuel and expense registration via a mobile device is one of the very useful features that have been seamlessly integrated. 9 06 Predictitive Maintenance with IoT has proven to be valuable in helping companies to get better control on preventive maintenance whilst being able to register corrective maintenance. At the same time, introduction of Internet of Things (IoT) devices unlocks the potential of connecting virtually every maintenance equipment and start capturing data, without having to have an engineer inspecting the equipment. So rather than having to send out engineers tocapture data, validate it and then decide on required maintenance activities, now you can let the equipment predict its own needs for maintenance and repairs. This truly unlocks the possibility of moving from preventative maintenance to Predictive Maintenance.
