2 Introduction A Point of Sale (POS) refers to a till at the point of purchase by a sales clerk, for example at the counter or in the curio shop. 8 Cost Structure Afrismash Technologies propose a flat project fee of Ksh. 50,000 based on these requirements and materials for the entire project; that includes the design, development, testing, user training, deployment, all hardware components, installation and maintenance. We will make another proposal if you have some hardware component you wish to re-use. 11 Payment Scheme Since this is our first engagement with you; to allow flexibility, openness and build confidence in implementing this project, you will pay after delivery of the system. You will be required to pay 80% of the total project cost on deployment and the remaining 20% after 1 month. Within the month usage, you shall evaluate the system and request for changes if necessary. However you will pay a commitment fee of Ksh 5,000 as towards mobilization of the project. Other Costs Travel and Other Expenses Travel and expense costs incurred by Afrismash Technologies, if required, during the project will be billable to you. 12 Support Services, Feature Enhancements, & Defect Resolution We understand that business systems are living products that require additional work and enhancement and customization as they evolve over time. Needed support services, feature enhancements, and defect resolutions can involve numerous resources of varying skill levels. In order to offer simplicity and transparency in the cost structure for these services and to facilitate ease in accounting, Afrismash Technologies will not charge for any and all services that involve support, maintenance and resolution of defects covered in the scope of this project for the five year warranty period. We will offer free training on request and free online user support (calls, chat and online tickets). However, any and all feature enhancements and resolution of defects not covered under any contractually agreed upon warranty will be regarded as a separate project and shall attract additional charges. Payment Method We accept payment in cheque deposit, bank transfers or Lipa na Mpesa.
