3 A range of solutions to meet your requirement We offer solutions that cater for a single door dental surgery, right up to an entire enterprise, with thousands of doors and multiple sites, each with their own bespoke requirements. This is achieved by providing three different methods of access control, all of which can control doors in single buildings, or across multiple buildings and locations. 2. PC-based access control These systems may be used to control any quantity of doors in a building and offer central control, via a network. Access is gained by using one, or a combination of authentication methods, including a numeric code, or PIN with a keypad, proximity cards, smart cards or biometrics. A key benefit of this type of system is its flexibility, which enables you to grant different permissions for individuals or groups of users via a rich and intuitive user interface. Many systems allow control of additional buildings via existing LAN/WAN. PC-based systems can also control other services within buildings, such as, intruder alarms, fire doors, lifts and lighting. Full control across all entrance points from one PC Unlimited capacity for a growing organisation One update for all locations, to reduce administration Typical applications Medium/large corporate premises Multiple-site premises Government buildings Universities PC-based systems are great for medium to large sites, as they allow for the management of large quantities of doors and users. Integration into lighting and HVAC is possible, which reduces the use of energy in unoccupied areas. Muster reports can also be generated, which are sent directly to the Fire Marshall s smart phone in the event of a fire. 1. Standalone access control Access is gained by using one, or a combination of authentication methods, including a numeric code, or PIN with a keypad, proximity cards and smart cards. Standalone access control provides wireless, wide-area networking for single, multiple and even remote facilities and doors. internet connection required Unlimited expandability Easy to use Low cost Typical applications Small business premises Any small or medium-sized site requiring access control Standalone systems are great for smaller sites with a relatively small number of users. The system can be extended easily as your requirements change, and token management is simple. 3. Offline locks Safetell s range of offline locking solutions are designed for wide area networks that may not have network connectivity. Their unique code key design enables the best protection against lost/stolen keys, as it can only be used if the PIN is entered on to the key before usage. t only does this provide added security, but means it can also function as a time and attendance system, by providing information on who goes where and when and how long they stay there for. As keys are impossible to copy, pick or bump, dependence upon security guards can be reduced and unauthorized access is eliminated Ability to monitor how long users have spent on site, giving you a complete overview of billable hours Downtime is reduced - staff can go directly to a job site, meaning no more time/energy/money wasted in collecting / returning /managing keys Time, energy, and money is saved when keys are lost/stolen/misplaced or copied, by eradicating the need to change locks Typical applications Public utilities Telecoms masts Railways Motorway networks This advanced access control system is great for small remote sites with a high number of users. The system is extremely responsive, allowing you to add/edit/delete users from the system, in real-time, with the click of one button on the software.
