3 WE ARE THE NET The BVDW is the central representation of interests. Be a part of it! An association of some 600 member companies of the digital economy, an industry with sales of EUR 133 billion and jobs. Tasks: Develop topics, promote dialog, create platform, honor performance, form network, pursue digital policy, offer orientation, bundle know-how, create transparency.

4 TOPICS The BVDW continues to develop relevant topics. Get involved! The topic-specific focus groups, expert groups, initiatives and departments work in a practical and result-driven fashion. The possibility to position yourself as a company in a visible manner and drive your business models. In approx. 130 sessions & roundtables up to 80 projects a year are implemented. 40 workshops and 500 calls reflect the dynamic work approach of the sector.

5 Digital transformation is much more than the implementation of technology. Digital transformation leads to the holistic scrutinizing of the existing business model facing the new possibilities of digitization.

6 And now why is the internet of things (IoT) the next big thing in digitization and maybe even the biggest? The answer lies in the cumulative effect of new technologies where every new technology represents the basis for even more technological applications
