1 PRODUCT OVERVIEW auto.sky is a full cloud service orchestration for your Windows application. With auto.sky you can migrate your ERP or any legacy Windows application to the cloud and enjoy all the native advantages of this environment such as scalability, elasticity, high availability, CAPEX reduction and flexible licensing. All without the burden of managing or even acquiring a single piece of equipment. auto.sky is based on the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model and you pay for the number of users that access the system. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Most of the modern companies today still rely on software tools that have been develop along the past decades and were not design to operate in the cloud environment. Also known as Enterprise Resource Planning or just ERPs, these tools are critical and they require specific hardware that must be acquired and maintained on the company s premises or eventually on third party datacenters in the form of colocations'. With auto.sky you install your Windows application in a virtual machine specifically created for this purpose. This instance already contains the connect.sky virtualization software that allows you to access your application via any Web Browser. Once the installation is complete, auto.sky uses this instance to build the source image of your application. This image will be used to spin up as many virtual machines as required to accommodate the demand of your users. The users access the application in the cloud from any operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, ios and Android) using just a modern browser. Your application runs completely on the datacenter and the user just receive the software graphical interface. With a 30Kbps bandwidth per session, the user perception is as good as a local software installation. AWS auto.sky uses several AWS tools to deliver the following features: Storage of multiple versions of the application image Configuration and storage of the Windows Application Data Base. High Availability in multiple availability zones (datacenter facilities) Backup storage SECURITY Application isolation in specific combinations of Account, VPCs and subnets. Environment protection Instance firewalls VPN connections from customer premisses to the cloud (upon request) PANEL The Windows Application Environment setup is done through the Panel. This interface allows you to define the parameters used by the instances to accommodate the users on their respective applications. The Panel is also used to register and manage all the users that can access the system. Upon registration, each user receives a notification e- mail with instructions to setup his/her password that is used to authenticate the application access. PORTAL The user connects to the applications through the Portal. This interface is accessible by all the major web browser and request the user credentials. Upon authentication, the user is automatically routed to the instance running the desired application. The Portal is customizable and allows you to define the proper look and feel so the users can perceive a familiar environment when accessing their applications.!2

3 CONTROL Control is an internal module of auto.sky responsible for the monitoring and management of the instances. It has been designed based on a large experience in scaling Windows applications and is capable of scale out and scale in all the application resources in the environment assuring the best experience for the user and a very efficient utilization of the cloud resources. The Control automation allows auto.sky to deliver the best cost optimised solution for the Windows Application virtualization in the cloud.
