1 Summary The Oracle HRMS R12.2 Release Update Pack 10 (R12.HR_PF.C.DELTA.10), patch , has been released and the latest revision at the time of writing was on 26th May All UK customers using R12.2 Oracle Payroll are required to apply this prior to the Tax Year ending April 2018, and for IE (Ireland) customers prior to January This document provides a complete, up to date description of all new and changed functionality provided within this patch, and a summary of the modules/functionality affected. R12.HR_PF.C.DELTA.10 is specifically for HRMS and Payroll and provides legislative changes along with various bug fixes for the Oracle HRMS suite of products. Historically the Release Update Pack has been a vehicle for delivering new functionality. Technology patches such as ATG Release Update Pack will affect all parts of the E-Business Suite, not just HRMS and Payroll. It is therefore necessary to perform ebusiness wide testing after ATG application and prior to the implementation of HRMS RUP10 patch and its associated pre/corequisite patches. Key testing should also be performed post application of the R12.HR_PF.C.DELTA.10 patch. 3

Functional Area Change Description HRMS UK HRMS IE Payroll New Employee Claims (UK) Comply with Recent Legislative Changes Manage Assignment Set using Web ADI This enhancement enables employees to make variable pay claims using the self-service user interface. Using the new function, Employee Claims, employees can route these claims for approval. Claims can be monetary or time worked. This function is seamlessly integrated with approvals management so that claims can be routed through the approval cycle. Oracle HRMS for Ireland delivers the following legislative updates: P35 Legislative Changes P60 Legislative Changes 2017 Budget Amendments o Updates to Universal Social Charges (USC) thresholds & rates o USC Exemptions 2017 o USC Calculations for Late P2Cs Prior to this release, users could manage static assignment sets using the Oracle WebADI. Users can specify the criteria and make amendments to the assignment sets that meet the criteria. Payroll Set the Action Parameter - Enable Costing Hierarchy for Balancing Segments from Frontend Users must ensure to include the Manage Assignment Set Self-service function, PAY_WS_ASGSET in the menu for users to access these integrators. In this release, the application has been enhanced to enable or disable this parameter using the frontend. 9

Functional Area Change Description Payroll Validate Rollback of Transfer to General Ledger Process The rollback of Transfer to General Ledger process does not validate if the post processes have been run for the batch on the General Ledger side. As a result rollback is allowed for Transfer to General Ledger at any point. Payroll New Costing Detail Report (generic) The application now validates and restricts the rolling back of the Transfer to General Ledger process, if the transferred data has been imported to Journals in General Ledger. The concurrent program Costing Detail Report (short Name: PAYRPCDRGL) that was available for legislations other than US and CA has been obsoleted. Instead a new concurrent program Costing Detail Report (generic) (short name: PYCDRGEN) is now available for all the other legislations. It does not include the GRE parameter. Users must remove this version of Costing Detail Report (PAYRPCDRGL) from their request group and add the new Costing Detail Report (generic) (PYCDRGEN) to the request group. The concurrent program Costing Detail Report (short Name: PAYRPCDR) is still available for the US and the Canada legislations and it includes the GRE parameter. Additionally, a new parameter, Costing Process is now included in the Costing Detail Report to generate the report based on the costing action along with the date range. 10

Functional Area Change Description International HR and Payroll Learning Management New Payroll Register Report * Use the Test Overview Panel in Online Test * This release delivers the Payroll Register Report for International Payroll. The report provides a consolidated overview of different payroll components such as earnings, deductions, and net pay for all employees under a business group. On the online test page, a new Test Overview Panel is added, which helps learners to see how many questions a test has and use the panel to navigate to any question in the test. In the Test Overview section, the colour of each question represents the following status of that question: Answered Answered or marked for review Marked for review Skipped Not answered The Questions region displays each question in a box with the question number. The question number is a hyperlink to that particular question and the background colour shows the status of that question, such as whether answered or skipped. A question number in boldface font indicates that the question is mandatory. Using the new Set Up Question Legends page, learning administrators can change the default colour of each of the question legends. 11

Functional Area Change Description Learning Management Learning Management Mark Classes as Certification Only * Subscribe to Certification and Enroll in Classes * Learning administrators can now mark classes as certification only using the new Certification only check box in the Create Class or Update Class page. The class will only be visible to learners as part of a certification and not as a standalone class. Administrators can select or deselect the Certification only check box at any point during the lifecycle of a class and regardless of enrolments in the class. Learners and administrators can now subscribe to a certification and enrol in relevant classes in one process. Once a learner has been subscribed to a certification, relevant classes for each course in the certification are shown for the learner. Use the Bulk Subscribe: Select Learners page to automatically enrol learners in classes that are a part of a certification. Note: This feature is not available when you subscribe a single learner using the Single Subscribe icon on the Add Subscriptions page or using the Add Single Subscription button on the Subscriptions page of a certification. Additionally, with this release, OLM provides the Unsubscribe and Unenroll button to unsubscribe learners from a learning certification and to simultaneously unenroll those learners from all classes that belong to courses in the certification. The Unsubscribe and Unenroll button is available in the following pages: Enrolments and Subscriptions Subscriptions 12
