An innovative ClearCase MultiSite Mastership solution (Synchronous Request for Mastership) significantly improves the productivity when organizations scale the SCM Solution for large distributed teams. Overview With the release of IBM Rational ClearCase - Cadence Integration V , there is now support for 64-bit editions of Cadence Design Framework. This new support adds integration capabilities to provide a enterprise configuration and change management solution to analog, radio frequency, or mixed signal designers using Cadence Design Framework. Customers can advantage of core capabilities of IBM Rational ClearCase, without leaving their familiar design environment. Cadence Integration now offers the following capabilities: New support for both 32- and 64-bit editions of Cadence Design Framework New support for synchronous ClearCase MultiSite Request for Mastership solution that significantly improves the productivity of individual developers/designers, when organizations deploy the integration solution for large globally distributed teams A rich set of integrated menus, toolbar, and a customized user interface for designer productivity Instant on Workspace support - Ability to instantly access any large sets of data through ClearCase workspace (Dynamic Views) without having to pre-populate information Ability to freeze workspace content Ability to perform version control operations from within your design environment Support for co-managed sets and Atomic Checkin operations Ability to manage design input inside Cadence DFII from Open Access data objects to SKILL Circuit Design language (CDL), PSF, PSF XL, and others -- Ability to manage design outputs in ClearCase like Library, cell view and cell folder and file assets, including XML database, PSF, PSF XL, scripts, and other related assets IBM United States Software Announcement IBM is a registered trademark of International Business Machines Corporation 1
