1 Dear Sir / Madam, Pre-qualification for Empanelment of Modular Furniture IDBI Bank Ltd. proposes to empanel Modular Furniture manufacturers for supply and installation of modular furniture for its new bank branches and offices and for its Renovation / Relocation of its Branches / Offices etc. at various centers in Bengaluru Zone. The centers would be located in different states, as under: S No. NAME OF STATE 1 KARNATAKA 2 KERALA The scope of work would involve supply and installation of modular furniture for various branches and offices of IDBI Bank Ltd. as and when required. Bank would empanel contractors for the above two states separately. Modular Furniture manufacturers satisfying the pre-qualification criteria will be empanelled for the states of their choice. Contractors are requested to furnish details regarding their Company, Organization Chart, Date of Incorporation, Experience etc as indicated in the application format given in the web site. The application formats duly completed in all respects giving the aforesaid information should be enclosed in a sealed envelope super scribing Application for Prequalification for Empanelment of Modular Furniture Manufacturers for Karnataka/Kerala State " and should reach us on or before December 16, The sealed envelope to be addressed to: Dy. General Manager (FIMD), IDBI Bank Ltd, First Floor, IDBI House, 58,Mission Road, Bengaluru The application received late shall be rejected. Bank will not be responsible for any delay/loss in receipt of application. 1

2 Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons and to restrict the list to any number deemed suitable by it. If too many applications are received satisfying the basic criteria Bank may modify the prequalification standards. 3 Terms and conditions of empanelment A. The centers, located in the different States of Bengaluru Zone as under:- S No. NAME OF STATE 1 KARNATAKA 2 KERALA Bank would empanel contractors for the above States separately and separate tenders for supply & installation of Modular Furniture would be invited for each state. Contractors satisfying the pre-qualification criteria will be empanelled for the states of their choice. The works are proposed in different districts, where Branches / Offices, located in Rural / Semi- urban / Urban / Metro centers and only those contractors who are capable of carrying out works in any part of the state including remote areas at the agreed rates, only need to submit their application to that particular state. List of similar works in progress, List of Technical Personnel, Organization Chart, Financial Statements indicating Turnover, Net Profit, Bank Details etc. for the last three financial years and other miscellaneous information are required to be furnished in the prescribed formats as given in the Annexure. B. Qualification / Eligibility Criteria 1. The applicants should be the manufacturer and should have factory having all in house facilities and machineries for its manufacturing. Location of factory with details of the machinery and QC equipment should be submitted. 2. The location of the applicants factory / manufacturing facility should be within the states of Karnataka /Kerala. 3. The bidder should have minimum annual turnover of Rs lakhs during the three previous financial years ending March 31, 2016 (Copies of audited statements & Income Tax Returns to be enclosed as proof for the same). 4. The bidder should have executed successfully similar works during last 5 years ending March 31, 2016 which should be either of the following:- (a) Three similar completed works (at least one of them should be in Central Govt./Central Autonomous Bodies/ Central Public Sector Undertaking/ Financial Institutions/Banks) each costing not less than Rs.8 lakhs 3

4 or (b)two similar completed works costing not less than Rs.10 lakhs or (b)one similar completed works costing not less than Rs.18 lakhs Similar work means "Manufacture as per the approved design, Supply and Installation of Modular Furniture for Banks, Financial Institutions, Govt. / Semi Govt. Organizations, Corporate / Office Establishments etc." 5. Parent Manufacturer should submit their copies of Manufacturing Licence, PAN, VAT & Service Tax, Excise, Registration, ESI, PF for staff, Quality Control Certifications etc. 6. If required the officials from the Bank shall visit the factory of the applicant to understand their manufacturing capability and to verify the documents and credentials submitted. If found any discrepancy or not found suitable the application can be rejected by the Bank without assigning any reason thereof. C. Time of completion The Modular furniture should be manufactured, supplied and installed at the respective site within 30 days from the date of issue of work order. Once Work order is issued, the vendor has to plan accordingly for supply considering the distance and time required for transportation. D. Method of award of work Tender would be invited, only from the pre-qualified manufacturer for each state separately. The manufacturer shall be given with standardized design and specifications of modular furniture required for a sample Bank premises in the state. The manufacturer shall be asked to quote for each of the furniture and L1 shall be arrived for the sample Branch in the state. List of manufacturers who agree to supply the furniture at L1 rates shall be prepared. The order shall be given for one branch as per availability and award of further works would be considered after verifying the successful completion of the works awarded depending on the performance, quality and adherence to the time frame given. 4

Submission of Prequalification Documents The application formats duly completed in all respects with necessary attachments giving the aforesaid information should be enclosed in a sealed envelope super scribing "Application for Prequalification for Empanelment of Modular furniture manufacturers for Karnataka/Kerala State" and should reach us on or before December 16, F. Instructions to bidders 1. Each page of the application shall be signed by a person having necessary authority to do so. 2. If the space in the Performa is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be given in separate sheets. 3. Applicants are required to furnish information against each item of the application. In case certain item is not applicable, please write NA. Application containing incorrect and or inadequate information is liable to be rejected. 4. For any further clarification, the applicant may contact in the numbers as given below during office hours. Smitha Parakkat, Manager (FIMD) Any information furnished by the applicant is found to be incorrect at a later stage, the contractor is liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up any future work in the Bank. The Bank reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently. The Bank also reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason and to restrict the list to any number deemed suitable by it, if too many applications are received satisfying the basic pre-qualification criteria. Bank also has the right to reject all the applications and go in for readvertisement without assigning any reason. ****** 5
