New option to change Exact Synergy Enterprise web address in Synergy Office Integration (SOI)

IBAN and BIC options introduced to fulfill SEPA compliance requirements The IBAN and BIC options are introduced in Exact Synergy Enterprise to allow you to record these information on the company account cards and personal cards, which are SEPA compliant. System General 1. Number of Exact Synergy Enterprise user licenses set at 9,999 The number of Exact Synergy Enterprise user licenses is now set at 9,999, regardless of whether the license contains module YA0021 Synergy user. Setup 1. Document type field can be mandatory or optional based on document settings Changes have been made to the Document type field on the System: Process type page, whereby the Document type field can be mandatory or optional, depending on the selections on the Documents: Settings page. CRM Entry 1. VAT codes for sales orders in Exact Synergy Enterprise now based on tax codes defined in Exact Globe Next The VAT code for a sales order created from a quotation in Exact Synergy Enterprise, is now based on the logic

Startup time for Microsoft Office 2010 application installed with Synergy Office Integration improved The migration of the Synergy Office Integration (SOI) codebase to target.net Framwork 4.0 and VSTO 4.0 has improved the startup time of Microsoft Office applications installed with SOI. 3. Customizable columns under Totals section introduced on Opportunities: Search page Users are now allowed to add customizable columns under the Totals section to an opportunity search results page. Professional Services Automation Entry 1. Workflow: Search Requests page filtered according to WBS or budget line When a user clicks the View requests icon under the Actions column on the Activities & material or Project budget page, the Workflow: Search Requests page will now be filtered to display only requests that are linked to the related WBS or budget line. General 1. Enhancements on the Hours & expenses page Planned hours will now be displayed in blue under the Non-project hours section as well as at the pop-ups under the Project hours section on the Hours & expenses page. A few other enhancements have also been done on the same page. 2. New function rights introduced to enhance flexibility in Professional services automation (PSA) processes Five new PSA rights have been introduced. 3. The lines can also be sorted according to the start date. 6. Linked Travel expenses requests created automatically with Hour planning & realize requests A linked Travel expenses request will be created automatically when a Hour planning & realize request is created from the Project planning or Hours & expenses page. 7. Invoicing term requests page renamed and improved for Professional services automation (PSA) The Invoicing term requests page has been renamed to New invoicing terms. In addition, the invoicing process of Fixed type project deliverables has been enhanced. 8. Project card enhanced in Exact PSA Several changes have been introduced for project cards in Exact PSA. 9. Latest standard Exact PSA request types available by default with new Exact Synergy Enterprise installation The latest standard Exact PSA request types are now available by default when installing Exact Synergy Enterprise. 13. Allow realizing hours on proposed projects check box selection determines realization or processing of requests by project managers The project manager can only realize, approve, or process Hour planning & realize and Capacity planning requests for proposed projects when the Allow realizing hours on proposed projects check box is selected. 14. Relevant WBS filtering introduced in PSA requests When the Use deliverables & WBS check box is selected on the project card and the PSA settings are defined correctly, the relevant filters will be used for the related Hour planning & realize, Material and expenses, Travel expenses, Invoicing term, and Capacity planning requests. 15. User interface enhancements introduced for Exact PSA Several user interface enhancements have been introduced for Exact PSA. 16. Performance improved on multiple pages in Exact PSA Several pages in Exact PSA have been improved for increased performance. 17. Additional fields can be generated for project cards via Exact Configurator Additional fields can now be generated for the project card via Exact Configurator.

Field renamed in Professional services automation: Settings page On the Professional services automation: Settings page, under the Other settings section, the Fixed billing period field has been renamed to Default invoicing term item. 20. New Time interval setting introduced for Exact PSA Users are now allowed to enter time and a period for invoice in variable intervals of 6, 10, 15, or without rounding. 21. Activities or materials added automatically to activities and material lists When a user adds an activity or material to a work breakdown structure (WBS) or budget line, the item will be automatically added to the activities and material list for the project when the user adds an item on the Project activities & material page via the project card. 22. Cost unit values can be exported to Exact Globe Next The value at Cost unit is exported when invoice proposals created in Exact Synergy Enterprise is exported to Exact Globe Next. Process 1. Copying of project deliverables and WBS lines to new projects allowed When creating a new project and setting up the project deliverables, the user now has the option of copying project deliverables from an existing project. 2. Manual creation of credit invoices allowed in Exact PSA

Processing Hour planning and realization requests (without cost registration) in Exact Synergy Enterprise The processing of Hour planning and realization requests that do not require cost registration can now be performed in Exact Synergy Enterprise. 4. Corrections allowed for hours and expenses entries You can now define negative values for cost and invoicing amounts in the Hour planning & realization, Material & expenses and Travel expenses requests. 5. Exporting of project budget lines from Exact Synergy Enterprise to Exact Globe Next enabled You can now export project budget lines from Exact Synergy Enterprise to Exact Globe Next. 6. Budget line creation from work breakdown structure (WBS) allowed Budget lines can now be created directly from work breakdown structure (WBS), eliminating the necessity to enter budget lines manually. 7. Project budget lines exported based on Enable intercompany & work in progress transactions setting When exporting project budget lines from Exact Synergy Enterprise to Exact Globe Next, the respective general ledger account information is retrieved based on the Enable intercompany & work in progress transactions check box setting. Central Master Data Management General 1. Changes made to division debtor and creditor pages for Central Master Data Management (CMDM) Several changes have been made to the division debtor page and division creditor page for Central Master Data Management. 2. Free fields can be synchronized for Central Master Data Management (CMDM)

Notifications for requests can be unsubscribed You can now unsubscribe from notifications for a request that you have subscribed to. Report 1. Templates section added on Workflow: Pivot analysis page A Templates section has been added on the Workflow: Pivot analysis page. Service Management General 1. Changes to Activity and Invoice proposals pages for Service management Several changes have been made to the Activity page.

Item agreement type added to service contract agreements You can now select Item as an agreement type in service contracts. 5. Your reference field will be synchronized to Exact Globe Next for Service management If the Your reference field is defined in the service request definition in Exact Synergy Enterprise, the Your reference field will also be displayed in the service order in Exact Globe Next. 6. Quarterly and Half yearly options added to Invoice frequency for Service management The Quarterly and Half yearly options have been added to the Invoice frequency field on the Service: Contracts page. 7. Service configuration supports multiple active service contracts for Service management Multiple active service contracts with the same period can be supported by the same service configuration. All the service contracts that are linked to the service configuration item will be displayed in the Agreement column under the Configurations tab on the service activity page. Exact Integration General 1. Migration tool for unmatched records implemented for Exact Integration

Expiring entitlements now displayed on HRM: Personal - Planning page Expiring entitlements are now displayed on the HRM: Personal Planning page. 2. User preferences settings can be copied from one user to another You can now copy user preferences settings from one user to another. Process 1. New page to process expired entitlements introduced A new page, HRM: Process expired entitlements, has been introduced for human resource personnel to view expiring entitlements based on a selected date range and also process the entitlements via the search results. Logistics General 1. Text box in item card always displayed The Text box in an item card is now displayed independently from the Text check box under the Attributes section in the item maintenance. Projects 1. Filtering of projects for users with CRM role

HRM 1. Product Update 248: Expiry date setting introduced for statutory and non-statutory entitlements (Dutch legislation) With the implementation of the new Dutch legislation, a new Apply expiry date check box has been introduced to impose an expiry date for statutory and nonstatutory entitlements. PSA 1. Product Update 248: Additional Person field included in request type settings An additional Person field has been included to the Who can realize the request? section in the request type settings. 2. Product Update 248: Hour planning & realization requests linked to Travel expenses requests via new field in Exact PSA A new field, Related travel expenses request has been added to the Hour planning & realization request. Field names have also been changed in the Professional services automation: Settings page.

12 Page 12 of Product Update 248: Rates on personal and project materials added to Professional automation services (PSA) Standard items are now allowed to be added as project and personal materials, while maintaining similar functionalities and behaviors as project or personal activities. User Experience 1. Product Update 248: New design for User Experience A new design for User Experience in Exact Synergy Enterprise has been developed. As of product update 248, the new design will be commercially introduced in combination with Exact Globe Next, and Synergy User. If you are already using the new design with the additional functionalities with Synergy User, a new style sheet will be provided on a short term basis.
