Has the County identified which Microsoft Public Sector features will be needed in D365? If no features are required, can you provide details or rationale? Parkland County does not currently use these features, so they are not included in the scope of the project. This is a like-for-like upgrade. 2. Does the software upgrade include new workflows? Has an analysis been done or will this be the responsibility of the successful proponent? See Question #9 in Addendum 1. No new workflows are being contemplated. 3. Does the software upgrade involve converting existing applications only, or are there new integrations planned with other applications? See Question #18 in Addendum 1. No new integration points are being contemplated. 4. Does the software upgrade involve just converting existing security roles or are there new roles that need to be added. No new security roles are being contemplated. 5. Is the software upgrade just a standard code merge, or are any new workflows involved that may introduce new code? 2 6. Please confirm that the County will be responsible for the D365 Environment Management, and what the role of the successful proponent will be in this regard. The County will be responsible for the D365 Environment Management, while the successful proponent will provide assistance and direction through the upgrade cycle if required. 7. Is it possible to have a recent Microsoft LCS Upgrade Analyzer Tool report, along with the date ran, and identification of which D365 platform was used? A copy of the Microsoft LCS Upgrade Analyzer Tool report information will be provided to the successful proponent. 8. What version of D365 was the Analyzer tool run with? Version Is the assumption that the Eclipse DAXEAM add-on will be upgraded by Eclipse as part of ongoing software assurance between Parkland County and Eclipse, with the successful proponent providing the upgraded environment only. Is this accurate? The successful proponent will be provided an upgraded Eclipse DAXEAM environment. 10. Can the County provide proponents with Kernel versions / application version numbers? The version numbers are as follows: Kernel Version Application Version Are budget controls required? Yes. 12. Please specify the number of open purchase orders, received purchase orders and closed purchase orders to be transferred to D365: All data will be migrated from AX to 365. The successful proponent will be compensated on a time and materials basis for data migration based on the effort required, therefore resources and their respective hourly rates shall be provided in the proposal. 13. 3 14. Does the system require Advance rule account structure? Yes, the County uses configure account structures and have rules applied to them. 15. How many currencies does the entity usually trade in? Typically only one (1) currency is used. 16. Can the County specify the number of Fixed Assets that are not yet acquired and will need to be transferred to D365? There are 3,622 Fixed Assets in AX 2012, and all will need to be transferred to D Does the County have any regional functionalities requirements for Cash and Bank Management? 18. Can the County specify the number of employees / contractors that will need to be transferred to D365? There are 578 employees and contractors in AX 2012 and all will need to be transferred to D Please specify if Request for Quotations (RFQ) are required through D365: 20. Please specify if Purchase Requisitions are required through D365: 21. Confirm if any Purchase Requisitions need to be transferred to D365: See Question # 20 above. 22. Is a Balance Sheet required? If yes, please specify the number of formats required. This is currently created in management reporter. 23. Is the Profit and Loss State required? 4 24. Is Cash Flow Statement required? If yes, please specify the number of formats required. The County does not currently utilize a Cash Flow Statement, and does not require one at this time. 25. Please specify any other reports that need to be generated using Management Reporter. Nine (9) reports are used annually. Additional information was provided in Addendum # Will Advance Warehouse Management be part of the upgrade? 27. Will Transfer orders functionality be used? Yes. 28. What is the approximate number of inventory items? Approximately Will BOM functionality be used? 5 34. Will internal cost projects be part of the implementation? All projects will be part of the migration project. 35. Will revenue generated projects be part of the implementation? The County does not use revenue generating projects. The County does fund projects, and as a result invoice proposals functionality is used. 36. Please specify the approximate number of open projects that will need to be transferred to D365: Approximately Please specify the approximate number of closed projects that will need to be transferred to D365: Approximately 1, Does the scope of the upgrade include ISV solutions (Eclipse s DAXEAM add-on) upgrade also? Yes. DXC Eclipse will provide an upgraded environment for us to data migrate to. DAXEAM is available in AppSource for Is the County looking to leverage any new third party apps which are supported on Dynamics Financials and Operations? 40. Is the check printing feature implemented in the current AX 2012 system? Yes, this is listed in Custom Reports. 41. Is the existing system using the purchase process from requisition to payment or is it a direct invoicing system? Purchase Orders (PO) are used and invoices are received against the PO for processing payment. Purchase requisitions are not being used at this time. 42. 6 43. How many active users are available in the system? There are currently 35 full users and 150 travel and expense users. 44. How many security roles are configured and are there any custom security roles implemented? There are 20 custom security roles configured and being used. 45. Does the County have any custom processes involved for uploading journal templates? 46.
