Infrastructure and Operations Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) helps align, prioritize and deliver on what is most critical to the business. We assist our clients to optimize the use of their core IT infrastructure and operational functions by leveraging industry-leading practices. We deliver riskbased infrastructure services to create transparency around cost management and performance while increasing efficiency. Strategy and Architecture Infrastructure and Operations Strategic Technology Advisory Services Transformation and Integration Emerging Technology R and Innovation Transformation and Integration Transformation and Integration (TI) drives the planning, execution and monitoring of transformative initiatives in businesses and technology, leveraging deep delivery knowledge and industry-leading methods. We facilitate the needed change within financial services institutions, offering a range of services, including global/complex transformation program planning and execution, program and portfolio optimization, regulatory and sourcing execution, program execution, merger and acquisition IT due diligence and post-deal integration support. Emerging Technology and Innovation Emerging Technology and Innovation (ETI) drives thought leadership and the practical execution of next-generation technologies that are top of mind for our financial services clients. 4 Qualifications: case in point Target-state blueprint EY assisted in the development and execution of a global bank s wealth management post-merger-integration business vision and strategy by delivering a scalable and flexible target-state architecture model anchored to key strategic priorities, financial objectives and value drivers. To support the emerging business landscape and sustain longerterm efficiency, we identified opportunities for improving the systems development life- cycle process and defined a target-state logical application and data architecture. We further designed data, investment and architecture governance models for prioritizing and aligning the technology portfolio with business objectives. We helped to lay the foundation for the client to achieve actionable outcomes in the short term and position itself for a successful multiyear transformation. Service delivery transformation EY managed one of the industry s largest service delivery transformation exercises undertaken by a major financial institution. We helped to define and implement a new operating model based on leading practice frameworks, which enabled the client to transition externally sourced services to internal capabilities. The client achieved major operational cost and risk reductions as a direct result of significant improvements in the efficiencies and effectiveness of services. At the conclusion of this project, we produced an enterprise IT end-state roadmap and helped to lay a firm foundation for continuous service improvements in solution engineering, operations and governance. Cost optimization EY managed the IT transformation initiative to reduce global technology operational costs at a leading international bank. Leveraging EY s extensive technology experience, capability and coverage, we established a Global Transformation Office to help rationalize the technology portfolio based on business value, technology dependencies and financial benefits. To that end, our prioritization framework enabled the client to identify, initialize and operate the portfolio to achieve cost optimization. Mobile technology banking assessment EY conducted the assessment of a consumer bank s mobile technologies to validate the alignment of work with its overall mobile program, to complete industry benchmarking and to deliver insight into leading practices across mobile banking channels. We provided points of view assessing the readiness for and impact of adopting HTML5, tablet relevance enablers and points of divergence from other mobile devices.
