4 OVERVIEW This guide outlines the information you need to know about new or improved functionality in Oracle Commerce Cloud April 2016 Release (16.2). Each section includes a brief description of the feature, the steps you need to take to enable or begin using the feature, any tips or considerations that you should keep in mind, and the resources available to help you. 5 RELEASE FEATURE SUMMARY Some of the new Release 16.2 features are automatically available to users after the upgrade and some require action from the user, the company administrator, or Oracle. The table below offers a quick view of the actions required to enable each of the Release 16.2 features. 6 PLATFORM & EXTENSIBILITY RETURN REQUEST UPDATE WEBHOOK The Return Request Update webhook is triggered when a return request is created or updated in Cloud Commerce. The webhook payload includes the return request and the original order. Synchronize return request changes in Cloud Commerce with OMS systems.

7 WEBHOOKS FOR NON-PCI COMPLIANT TARGET SYSTEMS The Order Submit for Non-PCI Compliant Target Systems and Return Request Update for Non-PCI Compliant Target Systems webhooks are alternate forms of the Order Submit and Return Request Update webhooks respectively that omit credit data from the request payload. Push Order Submit and Return Request Update events to non-pci compliant target systems without the risk of compromising credit card data. 7

8 PAYMENT GENERIC DEFERRED PAYMENT GATEWAY Allows partners to consume OCCS gateway-independent framework webhooks and integrate with the payment providers of their choice Orders can be placed (even) without actual payments and payment references can be updated on the orders later Payment webhooks now available for the transaction types: o Deferred Payment Request o Deferred Payment Cancel Merchants can now easily create, upload a payment extension & configure the settings in Admin Orders can be placed to the merchant OMS/Fulfillment system from the OCCS system and the actual payment can be deferred Payments can then be handled asynchronously by the merchant. 8

9 EXPERIENCE & DESIGN EXTENSIONS COLLECTIONS AND MEDIA PICKER Extension developers can now invoke a collection picker that allows users to choose 1 or more collections for their widget or site setting Extension developers can now invoke a media picker that allows users to choose a media file from the media library for their widget or site setting Allows the developer to very easily add collection and media based configurations to their custom widgets and settings. 9

10 EXPERIMENTS UNDO AND REDO EDITS Edit history for the dynamic variant editor Can be used to undo and redo any changes you make Allows you to easily recover if you make a mistake with your experiment updates Easily preview before and after changes. 10

11 ASSISTED SELLING APPLICATION OVERVIEW Overview Oracle Commerce Cloud s Associate-facing in-store app; original launch delayed due to price list Enhances selling opportunities for associates by facilitating product search, selection, and purchase directly in-app Contains an Associate Dashboard to display featured collections and a space for text so administrators can communicate with in-store associates Easy, efficient download via the Apple Store; supported on ios 9.0 and 9.1 Customizable branding of the logo, hero image on the dashboard, and background image selection throughout the app. 11

12 ENDLESS AISLE Associates can access the digital catalog and review and order products not available physically in the store Filter, sort and browse functionality during search and navigation Flexibility and efficiency for store associates when assisting customers and reviewing products Ability to conduct more focused and tailored interactions with registered shoppers by viewing past order history and preferences. 12

13 OMNICHANNEL ORDER HISTORY & CART Associates can access shopper profile information to see omnichannel order history or to create a new profile Shoppers can start a cart on the desktop or mobile apps, and associates can access the cart in store. Associates can update and manage quantities and apply coupon codes, promotions, and specify shipping information Provides store associates with a more streamlined and efficient approach to interacting with shoppers Enhances omnichannel experience via persisted cart and digital order history. 13

14 LINE BUSTING CHECKOUT Store associate can help shoppers check out directly in the app o Enter credit card information at checkout o Capture billing address information. 14

15 o order confirmation directly from the Assisted Selling Application Facilitates a faster and more efficient checkout process for shoppers Enables associates to reduce lines and wait times at the cash wrap MULTI-CURRENCY SUPPORT Ability to place and view orders in supported currencies Ability to change currencies in-app No need to leave the app to see past orders or to create new orders in any supported currency/price group Allows store associates to efficiently change price groups without leaving the app or wasting time for during a transaction Ability to Complete Manual Refunds. 15

16 GIFT CARD & PROMOTIONS SUPPORT Store associates can take payments for orders directly in-app, including multiple gift cards per order Shoppers may buy gift cards in-store Tiered Order discounts supported Flexibility in assisting customers with more complex payment use cases Ability to sell gift cards in multiple denominations Tiered order discounts support in ASA mirrors the rest of Cloud Commerce. 16

17 CUSTOMIZABLE CATALOG RESULTS Support for style-based product listings Ability to list multiple SKUs of a single product during catalog search Provides merchants with the ability to customize how collections are displayed and in what order products appear Ability for merchants to make their catalog appear more robust More control over how catalog is displayed
