5 Software as a Service (SaaS) How is this different from an On Premise system? Restricted database access. All queries are done through Business Analytics (BI) No PL/SQL code. Cannot create objects such as temp tables for storing inbound data.

9 File Based Data Import (FBdi) Column Headers Data templates contain column headers that represent the interface table columns. The columns are in the order that the control file expects them to be in the data file Help Text Each column header contains bubble text about the expected data type and, in some cases, instruction text Generate CSV After you finish preparing the data in all of the worksheets, click the Generate CSV File button to generate a ZIP file containing one or more CSV files Important Note: Never Delete Columns You can hide columns that you do not intend to use, but you cannot delete columns. Deleting columns will cause the load process to fail Mandatory Column Order Do not change the order of the columns in the Excel sheets. Changing the order of the columns will cause the load process to fail

19 HCM Data Loader (HDL) Used for loading/integrating g g HCM data Recommended for bulk load over (1000) records. User names can defined and loaded. Users can be loaded withroles. Can be mapped to multiple source systems. In not an Fbdi file types are pipe delimited.dat. HCM Data Dt Loader scope Doc ID HCM Data Loader: Business Object Documentation Needs to be set to full in order to load all business objects for HCM. Once scope is switched to Full you cannot use ADFdi of FBL for HCM. Changing the scope is a one time change. Will not be able to go back to limited.
