Our Quality Management System is an integral part of our company culture and efforts for continual improvement. With one call, Qal-Tek can do it all.spectrum Gauge Repair Each of our fixed and mobile calibration laboratories are equipped with parts from the main suppliers so we can quickly fix the problems without causing delays. We only use factory supplied parts or those which have received in-house engineering review and authorization. Our repair work is warrantied for 90 days. Gauge Rental If you re ever caught short one or more gauges, you can always rent some from our inventory. Rentals are available on a monthly basis, and can be shipped out of our Idaho Falls facility in very quick order. All gauges receive a fresh calibration before they are sent out, so you can be assured it will perform as needed when it arrives.

Our OSCAR trucks and technicians are also equipped to calibrate your lab test & measurement equipment so we can combine both in one visit thus saving you even more time, hassle, and additional service fees. Once on board, we call you well in advance of your calibration due date and coordinate a visit through our well-established logistics system. #2 Shipping Qal-Tek offers special pricing for those who cannot wait until an OSCAR can arrive. Reconditioned Gauges: We typically have a stock of reconditioned gauges that can save you many dollars. Buy Used Gauges: Qal-Tek offers great deals for used gauges that still have a reasonable source intensity and lifespan. Gauge Disposal Qal-Tek is licensed to accept and dispose of your old gauges. Once received, we break the gauges down in our containment facility to retrieve the radioactive source thereby reducing the disposal volume and costs. Qal-Tek presents you with a Relinquishment of Ownership certificate thereby removing any further regulatory responsibilities for the device(s).

Leak Testing Our Leak Test Kits come complete with swipes, instructions, and a pre-addressed return envelope. Once returned, Qal- Tek, counts them in a timely manner using certified sample counters. A detailed Leak Test Certificate is issued stating all required regulatory information to maintain compliance along with any notice if contamination is detected. Dosimetry In most cases, each employee using or working near nuclear density gauges is required to wear dosimetry to record accumulated dose. Qal-Tek offers a very economical quarterly TLD (Thermoluminescent Dosimeters) badge service. Once sent in for measurement, a dose report is issued to verify the 5000 mrem annual limit for employees has not been exceeded.
