ERP systems are adpted by varius academic institutes fr key management and educatinal fferings. ERP based HR mdule prvides huge slutins fr HR stream and making it feasible fr different branches t get access t specific wrker recrd. SAP ERP (Enterprise Resurce Planning) is cmmercial sftware that integrates all the data in single sftware, cnsidering numerus factrs like time and cst. This helps t manage the cmplete infrmatin and prcess abut the emplyees in an rganizatin. This paper emphasis n techniques f ERP-based HR mdule fr educatinal institutes t utilize the human surces. INTRODUCTION With the intrductin f ERP systems, any educatinal rganizatin, the data in their statistics device is a file, a flder, an e-bk, r any digital infrmatin frm any electrnic device. The ERP device is the quality answer fr any infrmatin system which remains yur system simple after it has built the structure f the system in ver a time. Optimizatin and resurce usage is the key cmpnent f any enterprise which has the inclinatin t attain the first-class utcme frm the prevailing infrastructure. Institute cntrl is the largest missin fr any rganizatin t gain the favred desires, excellent quality and the targets. ERP structures are fllwed by the numerus educatinal rganizatins fr key managerial and theretical services. In an educatinal rganizatin the cmbinatin f all enterprise resurces represents the mixing f systems fr human resurce management (mnitring f emplyees) and finance (accunting, payments, investments and finances) that was nce reinfrced thrugh discrete and ften incmpatible data applicatins. Nwadays, industries are renewing the human assets and turning them int ne f the essential features f the challenge management. In an rganizatin HR functins are fully integrated and mainly fcusing n management, recruitment and prviding directin fr the peple wh are wrking. The research n HRM in the framewrk f ERP is relatively new. 2. ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SYSTEM Enterprise Resurce Planning (ERP) is sftware that cmbines all streams and functins acrss an rganizatin nt a single cmputer system and serves all the department s particular needs. ERP is a cmmn name fr all sftware prvided by varius vendrs. Sme f the ERP vendrs are SAP, ORACLE, BANN, Micrsft etc. The Enterprise Resurce Planning slutin thrugh SAP (a sftware package) is fund t be suitable t deal with ur huge netwrk f business. C cntrlling FI FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING PM PLANT MAINTENANCE ERP SYSTEM SD SALES AND DISTRIBUTION HR HUMAN RESOURCES MM MATERIAL MANAGEMENT 2.1. Benefits f SAP-ERP SAP is primarily using in all business management tasks f a cmpany which includes paying invices, managing prduct and custmer infrmatin, and cntrlling finances. SAP is managing the tasks in mdules that all wrk tgether in single system by sharing infrmatin. 121

Prvides greater and effective cntrl n accunt, quality and less re-wrk imprves supply demand linkage with remte lcatins and branches in different lcatins. It shuld prvide user decisin making capabilities. User satisfactin is met fr its bjectives Tier architecture f SAP Presentatin Layer: This layer typically cnsists f cmpnents that make up SAP GUI. This layer acts as the interface between system and its users. The presentatin layer cllects the data frm the user and sends it t the applicatin layer and displays the data that has retrieved back. Applicatin Layer: This layer cnsists f applicatin servers and message servers. It is used t execute the business lgic and prcess the business lgic, client transactins and crdinate access t the database. Database Layer: This layer cnsists f central database system which stres the data, that are laded int applicatin servers. 3. NEED OF ERP SYSTEM IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE Fr any educatinal rganizatin, the imprtance f data fr an infrmatin system can be a file, a flder, an e-bk, r any electrnic data frm any electrnic device. The main bjective f building any infrmatin system and prcesses that system which includes Presentatin layer It includes: Business lgic APPLICATION SERVER Structured infrmatin. N duplicate infrmatin. Database DATABASE SERVER 3.1. Re-Engineering Reengineering is a cncept this is applicable t all industries, especially infrmatin and cmmunicatin technlgy (ICT) tasks n matter rganizatinal type, length, subculture, r lcatin. The business enterprise aid making plans (ERP) machine regularly calls fr agencies t trade their current business methds t harmnize functinal activities Applicatin f re-engineering: ERP (Enterprise Resurce Planning) integrates set f sftware develped t share data acrss the rganizatin which reduces redundant business prcesses. The system is deplyed in an rganizatin t streamline its functins. SAP is the tl r sftware suite that is being implemented as part f reengineering prcesses ranging frm entering an rder t maintain activities, invices, and beynd. The Enterprise Resurce Planning revlves arund Business Prcess Re-engineering (BPR). 4. PHASES OF ERP SAP SAP is nt just a sftware package, which can be laded in a cmputer and used. It is a stage by stage develpment prcess. It invlves many stages develped by a huge team fr at least 18 mnths f wrk. The phases f ERP, i.e.., Accelerated SAP (ASAP) tls are tailr-made fr an effective, fast, and wellrganized: Prject Preparatin This phase defines the gals & bjective, scpe, strategy, schedule and resurces Business Blueprint- This phase illustrates abut the requirements, dcument business prcess, baseline scpe, refines verall schedule which is similarly a pattern. 122

ERP BASED HR MODULE Human resurces are utilized in a gd manner and the wrk is dne effectively t the maximum satisfactin f an individual persnnel, ERP-based HR mdule will be implemented in an educatinal rganizatins. HR mdule which is described in this paper is the cmbinatins f fllwing sub- mdules: 1. Organizatinal Management. 2. Persnnel Administratin. 3. Time Management. 4. Payrll Accunting Organizatinal Management Organizatinal management includes structure f an rganizatin, staffing schedules & task descriptin. It determines abut the statistical structure f rganizatinal infrmatin. It als determines abut the develpment f data and tracks it t be fit in an rganizatin. Within rganizatinal cntrl, a structure is defined that illustrates departments, psitins that are cnnected, jbs and attributes related t the rganizatin held with the aid f persnnel. This data mdel cntains varius data bjects that are useful fr defining the structure in SAP HR rganizatinal management sub mdule Persnal administratin The persnal management cmprises f HR master data, emplyee s administratin, recruitment and salary administratin. The emplyee s management sub mdules especially ffer with the private statistics f wrker. It keeps infrmatin and cmmands fr brand new hires, rehires, status adjustments, transfers, salary increases, prmtins, leaves, and terminatins. This ttally respnsible fr string the master data, system cnfiguratin, and transactins t cmplete the Hire t Retire prcess. It includes the fllwing infrmatin and prcesses. The wrk time mdule gathers standardized time and wrk assciated effrts. In this sub mdule we can hld academic calendar and additinally shift reprts f an emplyee. Figure belw indicates the time cntrl evaluatin system fr hr mdule. 6. CONCLUSION: 5.4. Payrll Accunting Payrll system determines abut the salary management, statutry reprting, and attendance cntrl fr payrll calculatin. The payrll mdule autmates the pay technique via cllecting facts n wrker time and attendance, calculating varius deductins and taxes, and prducing peridic pay cheques. This mdule can embdy all wrkerassciated transactins in additin t integrate with the existing mnetary management structures. Cnsistent with the general integratin f sap R/3, the HR mdule shares statistics with ther mdules. The payrll tactics use sme rich features t print cheques, manipulate charge and bank recrds, and manages bills t tax gvernment and ther third-party vendrs. Nwadays several educatinal rganizatins adpts the traditinal infrmatin technlgy systems. They were develped t accmplish sme specific risks and prvide reviews and evaluate the events which have already taken place. The ERP is the best slutin fr keeping the system simple and building the system architecture f any infrmatin system. In tday s wrld it is necessity fr any rganizatin r institutin t cnvert their rganizatinal infrmatin int real time t achieve their gals successfully. This prvides a dminant slutin fr data manipulatin handling in an educatinal rganizatin. The emplyee effectively manages the data/infrmatin abut the peple in an rganizatin and integrates it with ther SAP mdules and external systems. Hence the implementatin f SAP HR mdule helps t prvide unified prcess, builds peratinal efficiency, and minimizes the time cmplexity while transactins and reduces the pressure f persnnel.
