6 Role Description This role will be responsible for the project management and successful delivery of the Procurement Transformation project. The project s objectives are to gain better value for money from Procurement across our $400m of supplier spend, improve operational performance, and reduce our procurement risk. This will require a significant transformation and investment in the function, including putting in place a category management team and implementing new/improved processes, systems and policies. Aspects of the role include: Project management (40%) Category management guidance (30%) Procurement capability development (across people, process, policy, tools, governance) (30%) Project Management The ambition is to be closely aligned to the High Performing Organisation (HPO) programme management approach, ensuring control, oversight and delivery of the various work packages/streams within the Procurement project. Lead the Procurement project management and ensure successful delivery of the outlined deliverables, working closely with the Global Head of Procurement Own the project work plan and ensure that delivery is on track Establish and communicate realistic and committed project schedules taking into consideration business deadlines, dependencies, resources, and costs Report progress to senior stakeholders and escalate relevant issues or risks Proactively identify and manage project risks. Monitor and drive the resolution of issues Manage the key project meetings Liaise with other projects within HPO where there are interdependencies Category Management guidance The ambition is to deliver significant financial benefits in 2017 from better sourcing of our $400m of 3 rd party, supplier spend. Provide ad hoc subject matter expertise on category management and strategic sourcing to colleagues leading sourcing or re-negotiations Progress category work (mostly pilots in 2017) to ensure optimal sourcing outcomes and our new strategic sourcing methodology / toolkit is applied Oversee the onboarding of new strategic procurement resources to ensure they are productive as rapidly as possible

7 Role Description Procurement Capability Development The ambition is to build the leading the Procurement function in the sector. Lead (or support in some cases) capability development current capability examples include: o Bedding in the value for money / benefits methodology o Consolidation of sourcing pipelines o Co-ordinate process mapping for the source-to-contract technology requirement o Purchasing efficiency KPI improvements Lead the development of training plans and its deployment; working closely with the Supply Chain Capability Lead and Learning & Development Owner of the Procurement business case / value pipeline management to maintain line-of-sight to the benefits and ongoing cost transparency Close liaison with the project s change manager to ensure change management is integrated into our design and deployment activities Essential Transformation project experience in the Supply Chain / Procurement field in any sector Involved in the design and deployment of strategic procurement organisation capabilities e.g. through consulting or internal project roles Experience and in-depth knowledge of project management practices and standards and methodologies including Prince2, PMI etc. Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget, using project management processes and tools including risk management, benefits management, financial management and quality assurance Proven attention for detail, high quality of output and ability to effectively manage a high volume of data and information Excellent communication skills (written & oral English), including the ability to communicate and present to key stakeholders Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, together with the ability to influence and motivate others Desirable: Procurement / Supply Chain Consultancy background or proven in-house project delivery in a Procurement context Hands-on category management experience applying a structured strategic sourcing process Relevant academic qualification (Masters or equivalent).
