7 CGD Discussion Series of conference calls discussing NQA-1 / CGD equivalency. Discussion included: Is there an alternate method to CGD to accept items from a supplier without a nuclear QA program? The opposing points of view were: Purchaser has the option, when purchasing items from a supplier without a nuclear QA Program, of: A. Doing a technical evaluation & performing acceptance activities as part of their dedication process, OR B. Purchase commercially, install in an assembly, perform final acceptance testing of the whole assembly. Purchases from suppliers without a nuclear QA program require a technical evaluation and acceptance activities as part of their dedication process. 7
