Smart Motors has developed a solution to exploit this data. It offers the possibility to check service and maintenance status of trains in real time, a source to generate historical records. It also process this data to give added-value knowledge to the user. The solution leads to an improvement of the data available for operational uses, and streamlines maintenance costs thanks to conditionedbased maintenance plans.

3 Benefits Streamline maintenance budget Defining a conditioned-based maintenance plan Parameters and alarms recorded, together with adhoc calculations made by the software are used to research pathologies. The software points the cases in which additional data is required and sends the order, or directly proposes corrective actions. This procedure allows asset classification according to conservation status. All recorded data is valuable in terms of defining conditioned based maintenance plans for the different trains systems, adapted to the nature of the element, the intensity of use and the breakdown occurrence. The extraction of information process is 100% effective and safe, and can be applied to various communication networks of different types of rolling stock. System Architecture Up to: records 900 alarms/events Data is stored on a server in the cloud, where the records are processed according to its nature. The server nourishes an application which shows data collected in real time. The application can be accessed from any device with internet connection through a Web browser. Smart Motors has also developed a wide range of products for predictive maintenance on signalling and tracks among others.

Smart Motor solution offers different capabilities, which vary depending on the needs of the costumer, for categorize lists of alarms/events and assign to them a specific pathology. The solution also offers the possibility to create descriptive reports and, when possible, suggest correction procedures to alarms.
