1 Acoustic Liquid Handling for Regulated Laboratories THE REVOLUTIONARY ACOUSTIC LIQUID TRANSFER TECHNOLOGY for Regulated Environments BROCHURE Version 1.1 MARCH 2018 LABCYTE INC. 170 Rose Orchard Way San Jose, CA USA Toll-free: Fax: LABCYTE INC. All rights reserved.

2 BROCHURE ECHO LIQUID HANDLERS FOR REGULATED ENVIRONMENTS ECHO ENABLES REGULATORY COMPLIANCE Echo Advantages Enable Regulatory Compliance Re-imagine Your Science and Research Bioassay development and deployment is highly challenging. Complex workflows and stringent success criteria require you to use liquid handling solutions that offer both the flexibility to meet your unique workflow needs and the exceptional reproducibility your work demands. Using an innovative non-contact dispensing technology, Labcyte Liquid Handlers deliver the utmost flexibility with any-well to any-well transfer and unparalleled accuracy and precision, even when working with nanoliter transfer volumes. Design of Experiments (DOE), pooling large numbers of assay components and sample randomization, commonly challenging for standard automated liquid handlers, are not only possible on the Echo Liquid Handler, but are straightforward. Combined with the added benefit of cost reductions through assay miniaturization and the elimination of pipette tips, Echo Liquid Handlers are transforming how researchers approach their science. Revolutionary Echo Acoustic Liquid Handling Technology Echo acoustic liquid handling technology uses sound energy to provide highly accurate, fully automated, non-contact dispensing of fluids. Dynamic Fluid Analysis technology from Labcyte enables the Echo system to determine fluid composition, fluid height, and the power needed to eject a precise volume of fluid into the destination well. This analysis happens in milliseconds, enabling precise and accurate transfer of nanoliter (nl) droplets into an inverted microplate. Larger volume transfers are achieved by rapidly transferring several hundred droplets per second. Transfers can be made from any well to any well, allowing for miniaturization and automation of complex assays to dramatically reduce reagent costs and save precious samples. 2
