2 Product Overview Paraslim and Webtie Paraslim is a flexible, modular, cantilever formwork system for the construction of the deck edge projections of composite steel girder and precast concrete bridge decks. Webtie modular soffit formwork increases the speed and efficiency of the construction of reinforced concrete decks in composite bridges, providing an economical and flexible alternative to permanent formwork between the bridge girders. 3 In Detail Paraslim and Webtie complement each other Pre-assembly on the ground Paraslim and Webtie complement each other by providing a full width solution to the support for composite bridge decks, thus enabling steel fixing and concreting to be carried out in a single operation, further reducing labour costs. Pre-assembly of equipment on the ground enhances safety, reduces erection times and speeds up both initial and repeat usage. Labour, plant and material costs along with construction programming are significantly reduced. Innovative support solutions Prefabricated on the ground Innovative support solutions from the top flange are independent of girder depth, reducing deflection and grout loss to a minimum, thus standardising construction and reducing the cost of making good. Modules of Paraslim are prefabricated on the ground before being crane handled into position. All adjustments, fixings and stripping are carried out in a safe and secure environment without the need to go beneath the deck slab. Paraslim can be erected quickly Up to 60m of Paraslim can be erected and levelled in one shift by two workers and an engineer. It has significantly less cost than underslung or overslung systems. It has a good quality of finnish due to reduced grout loss. 2

5 Components Paraslim, For Bridge Cantilevers Webtie Tension Fork Paraslim is an easy to use cantilever formwork for bridges. It is fully adjustable to fit a wide range of steel or concrete bridge beams and sheet piles. Significantly less cost than underslung or overslung systems. Webtie Saddle, for Bridge Slabs PSX10011 Webtie Tension Fork PSX10014 Webtie Edge Protector When shear connectors are used with Webtie Delta, the connectors are bent away from the girder edge to ensure that Webtie Delta remains securely linked to it. 1.0kg The Webtie Edge Protector is used to protect the Webtie as it passes over the edge of the bridge beam or girder. Webtie Delta For Bridge Slabs Webtie Edge Protector Webtie Saddle is an alternative to Webtie Delta, it supports RMD's Super Slim Soldiers as the primary beam.
