2 ADDENDUM NO. 1 NOTICE TO RESPONDENTS In accordance with the Request for Qualifications (the RFQ ) issued by the University of Massachusetts Building Authority (the Authority ) on June 26, 2018 for Trade Contractor Services for the Renovation of Existing Academic Buildings at the University of Massachusetts Boston (the Project ), the Authority is issuing this Addendum No. 1, which includes responses to questions submitted and modifications to the RFQ. Except as specifically modified by the information contained in this Addendum No. 1, the RFQ remains unchanged. A. Section I: General Information Part C: Trade Contractors to be Prequalified Page 4 Trade Category Electrical. Replace the $1,010,000 Estimated Construction Cost for Trade with $4,430,000. Refer to Attachment A for a revised Section I, Part C. B. Schedule F Safety Record Replace Schedule F in its entirety with revised Schedule F, attached hereto as Attachment B. This is to change the three (3) year history from 2014, 2015, & 2016 to 2015, 2016 & C. Schedule J Prior Revenue Replace Schedule J in its entirety with revised Schedule J, attached hereto as Attachment C. This is to change the three (3) year history from 2014, 2015, & 2016 to 2015, 2016 & D. Schedule K Revenue Under Contract Replace Schedule K in its entirety with revised Schedule K, attached hereto as Attachment D. This is to change the three (3) years from 2017, 2018, & 2019 to 2018, 2019 & E. Below are questions received with responses: Q1: Is there a project labor agreement (PLA) in place for this job? We are non-union and interested in submitting a response. A1: Yes, there is a PLA for this project. The PLA does not preclude subcontractors without signed labor agreements. However, subcontractors will be required to sign a letter to comply with the PLA for this project. END OF ADDENDUM NO. 1

3 Attachment A C. Trade Contractors to be Prequalified This RFQ seeks firms interested in providing Trade Contractor services on the Project in the trades identified in the table below. Interested Trade Contractors in the categories identified in the table below are invited to submit a Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to the Awarding Authority. Trade Contractors in the various trades will be prequalified either on a trade by trade basis, in phases, in groups of trades, or all at once depending on the project needs and phasing. Trade Contractors seeking prequalification for this project MUST submit a commitment letter stating its ability to obtain bonding for 110% of the estimated trade contract value for the particular Trade Contract from a surety company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth or appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department Circulate 570. The selected Trade Contractors on this CM at Risk project will then be required to provide payment and performance bonds for the full value of their subcontracts and Trade Contractors must include the cost of these bonds in their bids. 4 Attachment B Firm Name: SCHEDULE F SAFETY RECORD: Interested Trade Contractors are required to provide the three (3) three year history of its workers compensation experience modifier and attach documentation from its insurance carrier supporting the ratings reported herein as set forth in Section VI(C)(1)(f) of Part One of the RFQ for this Project.
