1 D25- Utility Hooks PM Callouts EXECUTION The project is called Utility Hooks (commonly referred to as garage /home organization ) with one of 4 scenarios at execution: Scenario 1: ½ MEGA wall OR ½ peg board OR ½ slat wall with beam elevations underneath Scenario 2: Full MEGA wall in bay with gondola shelving Scenario 3: Full MEGA wall in bay with baskets Scenario 4: Shared programs (i.e. tie downs, padlocks, etc.) on ½ core wall with beam elevations underneath DO NOT USE the POGs posted on the portal. Use the PDFs provided in the Field Communication Use the POG that represents your store setup (POGs will not be store specific) Pouch only the PDF copy Log any POG deficiencies as normal You are responsible to ensure your crew follows the specific SOW for your store 24 deep bays have new front mounting brackets Triple Post H-frames have new adjustable mounting brackets New product is shipped in yellow shrink wrap and labeled for CR Colored vendor bins come with new product Verify that all components required for the core wall are on site Include POG notes for each POG pouched

3 D25 Utility Hooks SOW OBJECTIVE The project is called Utility Hooks (commonly referred to as garage /home organization ) with one of 4 scenarios at execution: Scenario 1: ½ MEGA wall OR ½ peg board OR ½ slat wall with beam elevations underneath Scenario 2: Full MEGA wall in bay with gondola shelving Scenario 3: Full MEGA wall in bay with baskets Scenario 4: Shared programs (i.e. tie downs, padlocks, etc.) on ½ core wall with beam elevations underneath SOW 1. NO MES 2. Install Core Wall for stores currently NOT installed with MEGA wall. Product switch out only for shared programs that may have already installed a core wall in CR- DEC 3. NEW dump bins to be installed for execution for vendor Everbuilt. 4. Merchandise product to POG 5. Install NEW POP 6. Clean bays thoroughly (sweep floor, wipe down beams and H-Frames, scrape beams and H-Frames if needed, etc.). 7. Re-sequence and re-label bay(s) 8. Quality Check: Ensure bays are grand opening ready Page 1

5 D25 Utility Hooks Before you get started: Read the What If scenarios on PAGE 2, for when you come across situations during execution Locate the core wall and ALL its components Locate the new product and colored vendor bin Understand what scenario your store falls under and execute SOW based on that Stores with 24 Deep bays you are required to watch a video for the safe installation of front mount core wall Ensure you have a safe escape route if making adjustments to the back of the core wall Use min. 2 person lift when handling mega wall, core wall, slat wall or pegboard Important Execution Information: There is no MES for this project Do not over fill pegs when merchandising New colored Vendor Bins (A) are being introduced into sets and are reflected on the POG notes, sign POGs and on POGs in their colors A New POP C-channels are installed using self tapping screws to the top of beams (B) B Page 3

6 D25 Utility Hooks SOW Scenario 1: ½ MEGA wall OR ½ peg board OR ½ slat wall with beam elevations underneath 1. De-merchandise product from bay as needed 2. Remove and discard ½ MEGA wall OR ½ peg board OR ½ slat wall Hand over any old peg hooks to store in a box REPLACE with ½ core wall See PAGE 8 for ½ core wall installation Safe installation requires a fully gutted bay and min 2 person lift 3. Set elevations to POG (including the 93 /96 elevation) Use ladders to safely adjust heights 4. Set POP to sign POG (before merchandising) 5. Merchandise product to POG (IF it is a shared bay with another program, merchandise both programs to POG) Merchandise product in correct colored vendor bins and discard any old product boxes If bins are missing, reuse old product boxes (if available) or loosely merchandise on elevation 6. See labeling standards on PAGE 8 SOW Scenario 2: Full MEGA wall in bay with gondola shelving - Full MEGA wall to remain in place, it will NOT be moved 1. De-merchandise product from the utility half of the bay as needed 2. Set Gondola Shelves to POG 3. Set POP to sign POG (before merchandising) 4. Merchandise product to POG (If it is a shared bay program merchandise Utility Hooks portion to POG ONLY) Slight adjustments to the shared program may be required Merchandise product in correct colored vendor bins and discard the old product boxes If bins are missing, reuse old product boxes (if available) or loosely merchandise on elevation 5. 7 D25 Utility Hooks SOW Scenario 3: Full MEGA wall in bay with basket - Full MEGA wall to remain in place, it will NOT be moved 1. De-merchandise product from the utility half of the bay as needed 2. Replace baskets with gondola shelves and set to POG 3. Set POP to sign POG (before merchandising) 4. Merchandise product to POG (If it is a shared bay program merchandise Utility Hooks portion to POG ONLY) Slight adjustments to the shared program may be required Merchandise product in correct colored vendor bins and discard the old product boxes If bins are missing, reuse old product boxes (if available) or loosely merchandise on elevation 5. 8 D25 Utility Hooks 24 Deep Bay HALF Core wall Installation Brackets for mounting wall to H-Frame (total 4) Using hardware as pictured below, secure the Top and bottom brackets to the wall on both sides of the wall (adjustments may be required) Top of wall, with angled edge facing to the top of wall Bottom of wall, with angled edge facing to the bottom of wall Lay wall on base elevation and measure from outside end of one bracket to the outside end of the other. Lift wall into place using white core wall handles and ensure the wall will fit with the brackets (use stringers under the wall to help lift the wall when making small adjustments) Use a two man lift minimum to hold in place and secure to H-frames TOP BRACKET - 84 (Floor to top of bracket) 88 FOR BC BOTTOM BRACKET- Secure to where the bracket will eventually fall into place against the H- frame (approx. 66 or 69 ) Page 6

11 D25 Utility Hooks - Completion Checklist The area is clean from trash. All shelf heights are set to the new POG. Beams and H-Frames have been cleaned to remove sticky residue and/or marks. Display and/or fixtures are installed correctly. Displays and/or fixtures are clean of any dust, debris and fingerprints. POP and any Tear Pads and/or Brochures are installed correctly. POP is clean of any dust, debris and fingerprints. All product is set to the new POG. Missing product has been communicated to the store and logged correctly. All price labels are installed correctly. Bay re-sequenced. POG and Sign POG placed in the MET pouch and BSR has been filled out properly. Required after photos are taken. Bay is grand opening ready. 12 Supervisor Checklist D25 Utility Hooks CR May 2015 E A B D POP: A: Beam Labels are installed and priced with bin size labels. (Refer to Sign POG for specifics) New Aisle Violator is installed at 72 from the floor to the bottom of the sign B: New in Bay Violator is installed by attaching to upright so POP sits inside the bay, using 1 bolt and 1 wing nut through the top and bottom holes. Place the washers between the upright and the POP C: C-Channels are installed using self tapping screws to the top of the beam FIXTURE INTEGRITY: D: Ensure correct product is merchandised in the correct colored vendor bins and discard the old product boxes SAFETY: E: Bolts for mounting arms to core wall and frames are tight GENERAL: BSR reflects activity done Price labels are aligned on the beam labels and in good standing C
