4 INTRODUCTION Fix Shine Group of Companies was formed in 1995 to provide engineering, fabrication and construction services to different industries. Fix Shine has lived up to its promise and notched up an impressive record of successfully completed projects. Fix Shine Group is professionally managed with set management principles & policies which are constantly required to cater to the market dynamics. Fix Shine employs qualified & highly experienced personnel at all levels capable of organizing, executing & handling of all kind of mechanical construction projects from start to completion. The project team consists of engineers, supervisors, foremen, pipe fabricators & fitters, welders, general fitters, riggers, millwrights, electricians, mechanics, insulators, painters & the site support groups. Fix Shine s personnel have a long & distinguished record of teamwork developed over year of association at various projects. The project support group consisting of human resource, planning, procurement & material handling departments managed by a team of professionally trained personnel & constantly provide the needed assistance to the project team

8 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Fix Shine is committed to provide the highest quality of services to it s customers as per internationally acceptable standards. To consistently meet this commitment, Fix Shine has independent QA/QC Department. In-charge QA/QC directly reports to Managing Director. QA/QC department is fully supported by the top management and employees at all levels.fix Shine has a fully documented Quality Management System. QUALITY MANUAL The Quality Manual details the quality policy, quality system procedures, quality organization and the responsibility and authority of the key personnel. It also defines the channels for communication with the customer so as to cater to its specific requirements. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROCEDURES Fix Shine Quality Department has developed its quality assurance procedures for all departments including Business Development, Proposals, Planning, Human Resources, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Production, Maintenance and Sub- Contracting, and Information Technology Resources.

9 WORK INSTRUCTIONS In-order to attain ultimate quality control over its products Fix Shine follows its standard Work Instructions IMPLEMENTATION, MONITORING AND IMPROVEMENT The QA/QC manager is responsible for the implementation of the quality assurance program. Furthermore, employees at all levels, by way of training and discussions, are made conscious of their responsibility towards QA/QC, and in addition to their normal duties, are also required to simultaneously take up the role of QA/QC managers in their own sphere of influence. SITE MONITORING AND IMPLEMENTATION Assurance of Quality at site is the direct responsibility of Quality Control Engineer. He reports to Manager Quality control at head office. Prior to execution of jobs, Quality Inspection Plans are prepared for each job. The work execution is monitored by the QA/QC as per Quality Inspection Plan. All inspection activities are recorded on their appropriated approved format. Upon completion of project, complete inspection record is submitted in the shape of inspection Dossier.
