2 XLINE AQ50 Louvre Panel & Volume Control Damper XLINE AQ50 Louvre Panel Aquarius XLINE-AQ50 and XLINE-AQ50-CH2 This system offers a louvre profile set to 50mm vertical pitch spacing and optimises the airflow performance of the louvre panel due to the free area percentage provided at 46.34%. This louvre is suitable for use where small to medium volumes of inlet or extract air are required to flow at moderate pressure losses with high rain defence requirements. This louvre profile is available as a single bank or inverted double bank chevron configuration. The louvres can be fabricated to suit any geometric opening shape and size from rectangular apertures to triangular/circular or any other irregular shape. 3 XLINE AQ75 Louvre Panel & Volume Control Damper XLINE AQ75 Louvre Panel XLINE AQ75 Circular Louvre Panel Aquarius XLINE-AQ75 and XLINE-AQ75-CH2 This system offers a louvre profile set to 75mm vertical pitch spacing and optimises the airflow performance of the louvre panel due to the large free area percentage provided at 50.15%. This louvre is suitable for use where relatively large volumes of inlet or extract air are required to flow at moderate pressure losses with moderate to high rain defence requirements. This louvre profile is available as a single bank or double bank chevron configuration. The louvres can be fabricated to suit any geometric opening shape and size from rectangular apertures to triangular/ circular or any other irregular shape. 4 XLINE AQ100 Louvre Panel Aquarius XLINE-AQ100 and XLINE-AQ100-CH2 This system offers a large louvre profile set to 100mm vertical pitch spacing and optimises the airflow performance of the louvre panel due to the large free area percentage provided at 58.70%. This louvre is suitable for use where large volumes of inlet or extract air are required to flow at low pressure losses with minimum rain defence requirements. This louvre profile is available as a single bank or double bank chevron configuration. The louvres can be fabricated to suit any geometric opening shape and size from rectangular apertures to triangular/ circular or any other irregular shape. XLINE AQ3520 Louvre Panel Aquarius XLINE-3520 This system offers a louvre profile set to 35mm vertical pitch spacing as standard and optimises the airflow performance of the louvre panel due to the free area percentage provided at 42.42%. This louvre is suitable for use where small to medium volumes of inlet or extract air are required to flow at moderate pressure losses with high rain defence requirements. This louvre profile is available as a single bank configuration only and can, due to its construction method, be adapted to offer increased louvre blade vertical pitch spacing s to achieve free area values in excess of 50%. The louvres can be fabricated to suit any geometric opening shape and size from rectangular apertures to triangular/ circular or any other irregular shape. 5 XLINE AQ38-32 Louvre Panel Aquarius XLINE-AQ38-32 This system offers a louvre profile set as standard configuration to 38mm vertical pitch spacing and optimises the airflow performance of the louvre panel due to the free area percentage provided at 43.40%. This louvre is suitable for use where small volumes of inlet or extract air are required to flow at moderate pressure losses with moderate rain defence requirements if a consideration. This louvre profile is available as a single bank configuration only and can, due to its construction method, be adapted to offer increased louvre blade vertical pitch spacing s to achieve free area values in excess of 50%. The louvres can be fabricated to suit any geometric opening shape and size from rectangular apertures to triangular/circular or any other irregular shape. Solinear also offer its Aquarius XLINE louvre system as a range of small format louvre panels suitable for installation into glazing, cladding or any form of builderswork opening type. The louvre panels are supplied either frameless for reveal fitting into an opening or with an external face flange to allow fitment directly back to the opening external face with fixing through the face flange or side frame and finally with a channel section profile to enable fitment directly into window or curtain walling rebates from 28mm to 32mm as standard with adaption available for wider rebates as required.

The louvre blade profiles are set to a standard 50mm vertical pitch spacing with varying set out dimensions for the top and bottom louvres to enable run-out to non-standard opening heights to suit this particular product. The louvre frame and blade profiles are manufactured from extruded aluminium alloy grade 6063:T6. For special flashing details the louvre frame can be a fabricated component folded from 1050 grade aluminium alloy sheet to suit any geometrical detail required. Options available: Colour finish in either polyester powder, natural or colour anodised Operating louvre blades to provide close-off function in event of inclement weather or controllable airflow requirements Hand or Electrical control available. Black polypropylene birdguard or insect mesh fitted to rear cord beaded into frame section Single skin or insulated blanking panels to various U-Value parameters Security meshing or bars to rear Optional construction materials Stainless Steel, Galvanised MS, Plastisol to similar construction design

13 Louvre Panel Manufacturing Details The Solinear Aquarius XLINE louvre panel range is manufactured from Material: Louvre Components listed below are manufactured from extruded aluminium to EN12020 grade, 6063:T6 temper. AQ100/100CH-2 Louvre Blade Profiles AQ75/75CH-2 Louvre Blade Profiles AQ50/50CH-2 Louvre Blade Profiles AQ38-32 Louvre Blade Profile AQ3520 Louvre Blade Profile AQ100, 75, 50, 35 Clips VM01/VM02/MT01/MT02/MT03/MT04 Mullions HJF1/CF1/PF-EXT/UF-001/UF-002 Standard Flashings Construction: Sizes: Supplied in factory assembled modules to standard and non-standard sizing subject to suitable structural capability of our section profiles. Louvre panels can be made as factory assembled items up to 3000mm wide x 1800mm high. Wider louvres may be possible subject to design and manufacturing process review. For larger louvre panels requirements, the system can be modularised to accommodate most geometric shapes and structural opening sizes. Finishes: Polyester Powder Coated to BS EN /BS6496 to RAL/BS colour range. Natural Anodised Finish to BS EN ISO 7599 or Colour Finish. Options: Support Mullions: VM01 mullion span < 1.25m VM02 mullion span < 0.35m or fully supported by louvre frame edge detail MT01, MT02, MT03, MT04 structural mullions where unsupported spans extend up to 6.0m selected upon project wind loading service design requirements. Operating Damper/Louvre Bank: Motorised operation via 24V/230V linear actuator to enable fully positional control of louvres to dictate of client BMS or similar control system. Hand operation via lockable hand operated lever to enable manual positioning of louvres to client requirements. Accessories: Birdguard: Extra heavy duty, UV stabilised, extruded black polypropylene fitted to rear of louvres c/w 16mm x 16mm square aperture mesh size 2000mm x 50m roll 100mm overlap at joints and crimp sealed at 200mm centres to secure. Galvanised MS, stainless steel expanded mesh, weld mesh and security mesh available. Insect Mesh: Extra heavy duty, UV stabilised, extruded black polypropylene fitted to rear of louvres c/w 1.13mm x 1.13mm square aperture mesh size 1200mm/1800mm x 30m roll with 100mm overlap at joints, flat bar clamped fixed at 200mm centres to secure sealing. Galvanised MS, stainless steel and aluminium insect mesh available.

14 Blanking Plates: Type 1 - Single skin 2.0mm thick aluminium c/w RAL 9005 black PPC finish to external facing Type 2 - Single skin 3.0mm thick composite aluminium sheet c/w RAL 9005 black PPC finish to external/ internal facing Type 3-(**) either 25mm/50mm/75mm/100mm thick Insulated composite panel to provide thermal performance and U - value to design requirements. Core constructed from rigid slab PUR/PIR/Rockwool/Styrofoam/EPS material dependent upon thermal and acoustic properties required. Typical U-Values achieved for core thermal conductivity value (k) = W/(m K): Type = 0.91 W/m2K Type = 0.49 W/m2K Type = 0.33 W/m2K Type = 0.25 W/m2K Cellular Intumescent Fire Block: Non-controllable, non-maintenance, Intumescent fire block panels can be fitted to rear to provide 2 to 4 hour fire protection to the louvre system. The fire block is of modular construction and fitted within galvanised MS framework to provide certified fire protection. Components fabricated from galvanised MS and fitted with intumescent fire seals/gaskets. Fire blocks supplied selfcoloured steel grey material. Fire Dampers: Fire dampers can be supplied to fit to the rear of the louvre system operating via fusible link device or 24V/230V motorised actuator for link to client s fire alarm system to enable automatic operation to either fully open or fully close in an emergency. Fire dampers are of modular construction and fitted to back of louvre system to best array arrangement and sealed with intumescent materials and MS closure materials. Fire dampers supplied self-coloured steel grey material or unpainted, mill finish, stainless steel. Fixings: Louvres are not normally supplied with any fixings, fixing brackets, weather sealants or packing shims as these are expected to be supplied by the installer. Solinear can offer an installation service using its fully trained, sub-contractor approved network of fixing teams. Where Solinear are engaged to install then all necessary fixings, trims and sealants will be provided by them using either stainless steel, galvanised mild steel, BZP fixings to appropriate size and installation arrangement and fixing substrate demand. All fixings and fasteners to be supplied selfcoloured, unpainted. Packers and shims to be clear or coloured nylon to required bearing size suitable for installation undertaken. Fixing brackets to be either Type 1 (76mm x 50mm), Type 2 (100mm x 50mm) or Type 3 (150mm x 150mm) extruded aluminium angle section x 40mm wide, tumbled and slotted to accept required fixing size, cleats supplied self-coloured, unpainted. Stainless steel or Galvanised MS fabricated fixing brackets available to design requirements.
