Tenderers are reminded to acknowledge on the Form of Tender that this Addendum has been received. SPECIFICATIONS General Item No. 1 Section , Instructions to Bidders DRAWINGS Architectural 1.1 Refer to Item DELETE January 25, and REPLACE with February 28, 2019 Item No. 2 Drawing A01, Room Finish Schedule 2.1 Clarification: for new LVT specifications, refer to drawing A40 Specifications Division Resilient Tile Flooring. Item No. 3 Drawing A13, 1/A13 Demolition Floor Plan Ex. Office & WR E151 to E In existing WR s E152 and E154, delete saw cut and slab breakage scope of work in its entirety. Upon the removal of the existing mechanical and electrical elements penetrating through the existing suspended floor concrete slab, contractor to neatly patch the holes with non-shrink grout equivalent to CPD non-shrink or non-metallic grout. Make good all surfaces. Prior to drill or core new holes through the existing suspended floor concrete slab, contractor must scan the existing suspended floor concrete slab to locate embedded rebar. Scanning cost to be carried in the Bid Price. Cutting of rebar is not permitted under any circumstance. General Contractor will be responsible for drilling, coring and patching for coordination with mechanical sub-contractor. Item No. 4 Drawing A13, 2/A13 Renovated Floor Plan New Boys Change Room E151 to E Existing window located in New Boy s Change Room E155 to be securely lock in place, in a manner to prevent the window from opening inside. 4.2 Delete new gypsum board bulkhead scope of work in existing stair in its entirety. In both existing stair and adjacent gym corridor, contractor to neatly cut and remove a portion of the existing gypsum board ceiling finish, in a manner to provide sufficient space to complete the mechanical scope of work. Upon the mechanical scope of work, provide new 5/8 type x gypsum board c/w taped joints, primer and paint finish, matching existing gypsum board ceiling finish and colour. Existing ceiling access panels located in both existing stair and adjacent gym corridor ceilings, to be temporarily removed, salvaged, stored as directed by owner and reinstalled to suit.

Item No. 6 Drawing A14, 1/A14 Demolition Floor Plan Indigenous Classroom E Delete the existing wood working bench c/w associated steel pipes supports scope of work note in its entirety. Both existing mobile wood working benches located in this room to be relocated as follow: one bench in the New IT Room E205a and the other in New Indigenous Classroom E205c. 6.2 Existing bottom cabinets c/w sink located along the east wall to remain. 6.3 In Corridor E206, a total of 13 existing metal lockers including numbers N592 to N604 c/w perimeter metal trims to be removed, salvaged and stored or disposed as directed by owner on site. Contractor to completely infill the entire metal lockers removal space, with new interior partition from top of existing terrazzo base to u/s of existing gypsum board bulkhead, and between face of existing concrete block wall to face of new interior partition. New interior partition infill to be constructed of: 5/8 type x abuse resistant gypsum board c/w taped joints on 2 1/2 metal 16 o.c., primer, paint finish, continuous perimeter metal J mould edge protection trims and continuous caulking. Repaint extent of existing affected concrete block wall, prime and paint new gypsum board wall finish. New paint colour to match existing corridor wall paint colour. Item No. 7 Drawing A15, 2/A15 Renovated Floor Plan WR F218 F DELETE new P5 interior partition and door D218 scope of work in its entirety. Item No. 8 Drawing A20, 3/A20 Bench Section Detail 8.1 Attached Sketch SKA20-3 is for clarity purposes only. Item No. 9 Drawing A20, 5/A20 Structural Steel Lintel Schedule 9.1 REVISE Structural Steel Lintel Schedule as follow: L1 for 6 concrete block Up to 7-0 opening width 2 - L3 1/2x2 1/2x5/16 LLV angles B/B Notes: remain the same as in the lintel schedule. L2 for 6 concrete block Up to 4-0 opening width 2 - L3x2 1/2x5/16 LLV angles b/b Notes: remain the same as in the lintel schedule. Item No. 10 Drawing A16, 2/A16 Renovated Floor Plan Rooms E115 E Existing damaged wood door slab located between rooms Office E139 and Reception E142, to be replaced with new prehung wood door slab matching existing door size c/w primer and paint finish. New paint colour to match existing. Existing door hardware to be temporarily removed, salvaged, stored as directed by owner and re-installed to suit. Automatic Door Operators (ADO) are required for the following doors: a. Existing door located between existing Corridor F114 and Corridor E111, as circled in red on the attached ground floor plan. i. 1qty - Automatic Door Operator GT500 x 3'6" - 120V - TJM - RHR Clear Anodized ii. 2qty - Actuators GT4-24V c/w H/C Logo stainless steel iii. 1qty - Switching Network SA1 (concealed in ADO body) iv. Relocate existing exit sign located in Corridor F114 as required. Replace existing acoustic ceiling tile with new. b. Existing door located between existing Corridor E133 and Waiting E143, as circled in red on the attached ground floor plan. i. 1qty - Automatic Door Operator GT500 x 3'6" - 120V - TJM - RHR Clear Anodized ii. 2qty - Actuators GT4-24V c/w H/C Logo stainless steel iii. 1qty - Switching Network SA1 (concealed in ADO body) 2. Acceptable Product: Gyro Tech (Nabco) automatic door operator 3. Schedules: Submit a detailed hardware schedule before proceeding with any supply of products to the project. Submit copies of the hardware schedule for approval. 4. Electrical: Power to be supplied by Electrical Division - Section 16. Also all raceways and boxes to wall switches and wiring to alarm system. The automatic operator supplier to supply installation of these units only in conjunction with the electric strike if required. All other electrical work is brought to each opening by the electrical contractor. The work by other trades required to be performed in order to ensure proper installation and function of the automatic operator is as follows: a. Wiring and conduit between control devices and operator. Wiring conduit and electrical equipment required to interface with our operator/controls and any other electrical control/monitoring systems either existing or supplied by others. b. Provide adequate support for operator header. c. Electrical service - 120V d. Supply & installation of auto-operators included; co-ordinated with the touch switches.
