Pro-Lok is constructed from materials that are impervious to mould and bacteria based fungus. The uprights and horizontal rails incorporate a solid steel core for maximum durability and strength, incased in an easy-to-clean tough polypropylene exterior. Designed as bolt and nut free and completely weld-less, the Pro-Lok range is easy to assemble and install. Fully modular, the Pro-Lok range is configured using only four clip-together parts which come in a variety of sizes for maximum dimensional flexibility. The Pro-Lok units also come complete with adjustable feet to compensate for any irregularities in the floor surface. Seamless and bug-trap free, the Pro-Lok range is an ultimate solution to the demands of an HACCP compliant kitchen. The Pro-Lok range is ideal in wet and dry areas and also in healthcare where sterility and compliance is paramount. Able to withstand temperatures as low as -40 o C the Pro-Lok range is well suited for walk-in type cool-rooms, freezers and blast freezing areas. 4 EASY TO CLEAN Easy to clean at home in sanitary storage areas The polypropylene skin gives a smooth easy wipe down surface. Because of the polypropylene encased steel core, the Pro-Lok system is impervious to bacteria. Dirt, liquids and acidic juices cannot get caught in joints and seams. Each Pro-Lok component is dishwasher safe. Hygienic storage areas are complemented when incorporating the easy cleaning properties that Pro-Lok provides. With Pro-Lok HACCP compliant operations and sterile environments are easier to gain and maintain. The Pro-Lok shelf inserts are moulded with a material that has an antimicrobial additive that inhibits the growth of mould and bacteria. This greatly reduces the risk of product degeneration. No Rust. GUARANT Good looking & built tough Tough Polypropylene Solid steel core strong as steel Upright frames and horizontal rails all incorporate a steel core. This provides maximum strength, rigidity and durability. Tapered post connectors that slide and clip into the vertical posts at the top and bottom give excellent diagonal rigidity. The posts incorporate heavy duty adjustable feet to provide stability and allow for levelling of units in all applications. The unique upright post design allows for extension bays that simply clip in and add on to initial bays. 5 Easy modular assembly.. No nuts and bolts The modular design of Pro-Lok provides flexibility in configurations to suit any area. Pro-Lok is available in 2 heights, 4 depths and 6 lengths. This allows for a huge variety of configurations that will suit any situation. Shelf levels can be adjusted vertically in 100mm increments. This can be done at any time and doesn t affect any other levels or involve full re-assembly. Pro-Lok units can be configured at 90 to each other, incorporating the unique bridge clips. Traverses slide easily down onto the dovetail. RUST FREE For use in wet, dry and sterile/hygienic areas The Pro-Lok range incorporates a Polypropylene coated steel core. This coating fully encapsulates the steel core which is seamless. As there are no joins or crevices, the Pro-Lok system is rust free. Ideal in environments that are highly corrosive i.e.; Marine. Suitable in blast freezer conditions, down to minus 40 c and damp and wet environments. A must for areas that are required to operate within an HACCP & IFHS compliant enterprise. 5

6 Pro-Lok Components & configurations Hygienic & sterile storage range Pro-Lok has four key components. These components are available in a variety of sizes to give flexibility in configuring customised layouts to suit any application. The key components are supplied as: STATIC UNITS A. POST SETS which include 2 posts and a set of one top and one bottom post connector. B. SHELF SETS which include 2 rails and a combination of shelf panels to fit the length of the rails. MOBILE UNITS A. POST SETS which include 2 posts for mobile units and post connectors. B. SHELF SETS which include 2 rails and shelf panels to fit the length of the rails. C. Castors are heavy duty. POST SET - 2 posts and a set of top & 1 bottom post connector POST SET Posts have a steel core with a polypropylene exterior to provide strength and durability. Posts define the height of the shelving unit and are measured with the levelling foot fully engaged. Rails snap into the moulded-in dovetails on the posts. Shelves sit 100mm apart between each dovetail. Mobile Pro-Lok units are built using posts with the correct fittings for castor installation. POST CONNECTORS Post connectors hold two posts together to determine the width of the unit. Post connectors are made of polypropylene. Post connectors provide excellent diagonal rigidity shelf sets - 2 rails and shelf panels to fit the length of the rails Traverses The rails have a steel core with a polypropylene exterior to provide strength and durability. The rails snap into the dovetails on the posts. Shelf panels are placed on the rails. A pair of rails are required to build a shelf. The rails define the length of the unit. 7 Corner BRIDGE CONNECTORS Bridge connectors go between a static unit and a second unit in a 90 o angle or between two units to form a U shape. A set of corner connectors are needed for each shelf. When using bridge connectors, weight bearing capacity will reduce to 180kg per shelf. Bridge connectors are recommended for use on rails equal to, or shorter than 1220mm castors Castors are available for mobile or high density Skytrack units. Easy to assemble rails and shelves can be configured to suit whatever space is available. Shelves can be adjusted in 100mm increments without disassembling the unit. Units can be easily connected at right-angles to each other using bridging connectors. These can be used to form U-shaped units as in the middle picture above. When adding on to a starter unit the rails on the first and second unit share the middle post. As a result only two additional posts, instead of four, are required (see left hand pic above). This simplifies assembly and reduces cost without compromising the strength of the unit. A set of bridge connectors are used to form a corner unit or to allow the use of bridge connectors to make up the U-shaped unit. Bridge connectors easily snap into the rails of the first unit. 9 Pro-Lok EASY ASSEMBLY JUST FOLLOW THE FOUR EASY STEPS BELOW According to the direction arrow, connect two posts using a set of post connectors. (A set includes top and bottom post connectors). Repeat for second side of unit. 1 Centre the dovetail mouldings on the rails with those on the posts. Slide smoothly into position. 2 3 Add an additional unit by connecting two more posts and setting rails into the dovetails on the posts. The rails on the first and second unit share the middle post. Place shelf plates on the rails to complete the second unit. Add an additional unit on a 90o angle using a set of bridge connectors. Place the shelf plates on the rails. Place the smaller of the plates to the left hand side first, then add the second shelf to complete the remaining distance. Following this pattern add more rails and shelves until the unit is complete. 4 9
