2 Project: system The contractor shall, when pricing the rates of this bill take into consideration including and allow for the cost expenses of all requirements stipulated in the preambles, drawings and technical specifications of the contract. Also the contractor must consider the fact that this project is a running complex and must be kept as so during the whole period of construction. All works shall be completed as per the approval of the supervising Engineer. Therefore, work shall be carried out during the days off (weekends) throughout the whole duration of the project (three months). Supply and Install (S & I) heat pump VRV III ( variable refrigerant volume ) system made by York (USA), Daikin (Japan), Carrier (France) or Equally Approved (E.A). Refrigerant R410A Complete with the outdoor and indoor units, piping network, control system and all the needed necessary parts according to the drawings and specifications. As for the following: 1 S & I VRV Outdoor unit: Modular type made by York (USA), Daikin (Japan), Carrier (France) or E.A. Includes multi independent scroll compressors with one inverter compressor for capacity change ability. According to specs & the following nominal cooling capacity: Ton, 44 hp. No. 1 2 S & I the following VRV Indoor units: Wall mounted type made by York (USA), Daikin (Japan), Carrier (France) or E.A with output capacity for heating not less than cooling capacity at nominal conditions. According to the following nominal cooling capacity : 2.1 Wall mounted type 1.5 Ton No. 1 Engineering Unit 1-7

External static pressure varies between Pa, equipped with drain pump. The unit shall be a single coil with drain pan made of stainless steel and with all parts such as washable flat filter, multi speed electric motor and room thermostat with distant remote controller. The rate includes copper pipes of proper diametres with 9 mm insulation and 10 cm plastic wrap strips, all the required fittings internally and externally, flexible pipe for drain water to be connected to the PVC A/C drain pipe on wall, electrical power and control cable, and any other material deemed neccessary to complete the job. 7.1 Wall mounted type 1.5 Ton No Wall mounted type 1.5 Ton (But with low ambient kit for the server rooms). 5 Project: 9 S & I the following wall-mounted type exhaust fan manufactured by Vortice or E.A. Axial type. Price shall include all needed material to complete the job, electrical connection to distribution board including maitenance disconnct switch for each fan, and concrete boring where required. PVC pipes for condensate water drainage. The rate shall include all fittings, hangers, brackets, conduits, boring, chizeling, flexible connections, and all other needed materials deemed necessary to complete the job. The drain pipe outlet should be connected mainly to floor drains on balconies (all DE pipes shown on drawings). However, when drain pipe is terminated at internal floor drain (all DI pipes shown on drawings), contrator is bound to break in existing tiles and reinstating new similar tiles after pipe connection is done. In all cases, exposed drain pipes should be enclosed in PVC conduits. LM 40 Engineering Unit 4-7

6 Project: Important Notes: All materials and accessories to be used shall be according to the Approved Manufacturer List attached to the electrical 11.1 Sec. 11.1) - Electrical Points. The switchboards shall contain accessories shall be according to the approved manufacturer list. g. Prices for supply, installation and connection of various accessories including all associated labor and materials such as bus-bars, terminals, wiring reinforcements, mounts, engraved "sandwich" type identification plates, etc. including connection to mains supply - complete ready for use. h. 8 Project: DB-M3 Unit DB-M4 Unit 1 12 Dismantling roof tiles in the southern part of the building in the Window area to allow the A/C external unit to be located on the roof under the roof tiles, dismantling all wooden beams that support the roof tiles to make room for installing the unit. Price shall include reconstructing the roof tiles and rearrange all the structure as before. The contractor is responcible for all the damage and is obligued to change any broken tile and wooden beam. All done as per the approval of the Engineer.
