The approved mock-up area will determine the level of workmanship acceptable for the installation of the specified wall cladding. 1.5 PRODUCT STORAGE.1 Sheets must be stored flat, fully supported, and left for 24 hours to attain ambient room temperature prior to installation at minimum 18degrees Celsius. 1.6 ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS.1 Install panels in temperature and humidity conditions approximating the operating environment of the finished room..2 Consult other trades in advance and make provisions for work of other trades, to avoid future repairs. 1.7 WARRANTY.1 The Warranty is with respect to this section of work extended from one year to five years. Provide a written guarantee in the form specified in Section Warranty shall be for the product and product s installation against discolouration and impact resistance. 2 PRODUCTS 2.1 WALL MATERIAL.1 Material.1 Supply and install in accordance to recommendations set out by wall cladding manufacturer..2 Altro Whiterock Wall Cladding Extruded 3.0m x 1.220m x 2.0mm thick sheets, colour white by Compass Flooring Ltd., Adhesive.1 Two component polyurethane for non-absorbent surfaces eg Mapei Planicrete W or approved equal. Note Item No to be supplied and installed by drywall trade.4 Accessories:.1 Including but not limited to: P258 Intermediate or Centre Joint Section P259 Start and Edging Trim P255 External Corner P257 Internal Corner.2 Install at ceiling of Room E0024 Environmental Exposure. 3 EXECUTION 3.1 INSPECTION OF EXISTING AND SUBSTRATE WALL CONDITION.1 Ensure wall substrates are smooth and level to within 3mm in 3m..2 Install cement board, minimum thickness 12mm fastened to studs or battens at centres not greater than 400mm. It is not necessary to install corner beads or fill joints. 3.2 APPLICATION OF WALL PANELS.1 Dry-fit sheet prior to fixing..2 Bevel leading edges of sheet prior to welding seams or fitting joint and cap strips..3 Apply adhesive to back of sheet uniformly following adhesive label..4 Offer sheet to wall substrate allowing for a 3mm gap. Roll sheet thoroughly with a wall roller to ensure full adhesion.

Campus HYGENIC PVC WALL & CEILING September 22, 2008 Recommissioning Phase 2 Page 4 of 5.5 Cut sheet neatly to accommodate pipes, electrical boxes etc providing a 3mm gap for expansion..6 Fit sheets neatly at door and window trim providing a 3mm gap for expansion..7 Thermoform all inside and outside corners and specific shapes to fit building contours..8 Install joint strips (A831) to each sheet as installation progresses..9 Stop the A831 joint strip 9mm short of the bottom of the sheet. Cut away the back of the A831 joint strip. Install Altro cap tile (A832) to bottom edge of sheet when all of the panels have been installed. In order to follow the thermoformed internal and external corners the transition strip will have to be notched..10 Apply a bead of recommended sealant along the bottom edge of the panel..11 Cap off panel edge with A807 Start and Edge Trim..12 Provide water tight seal to all pipes, projections, door and window trims using ICL319 sealant (matching)..13 Upon completion of the installation remove the protective film..14 Wash with dilute soap/detergent solution and rinse with clean water. 3.3 INSPECTION OF CEILING FRAMING.1 Ensure ceiling framing is level within 3mm in 3mm.2 Ensure layout of suspended grid meets requirement of P250 panels, light fixtures and access panels. 3.4 INSTALLATION OF CEILING PANELS.1 Layout level ceiling line around room perimeter.2 Secure perimeter channel to ceiling line by fastening at 610mm o.c..3 Set out access panels.4 Fix soffit cleats and hanger sections at centres specified to suit desired grid system.5 Continue installing grid system following manufacturer s instructions.6 Fit vinyl extrusion P259 to underside of perimeter channel using ½-6 c/s s/t screws.7 Fit P250 ceiling boards at right angles to main grid section using ½-6 c/s s/t screws..8 Clean all boards using safe solvent cleaner

Do not remove until immediately prior to final inspection. 1.6 WARRANTY.1 Warrant the work of this section for 10 years. Provide a written guarantee in the form specified in Section Warrant against breakage, corrosion, delamination and defects in factory workmanship. 2 Products 2.1 MATERIALS.1 Sheet steel: commercial quality to ASTM A526M with ZF001 designation zinc coating..2 Fasteners: Stainless steel tamperproof type screws and bolts..3 Overhead Brace: Extruded aluminum channel with satin finish of anti-grip design..4 Pilaster Shoe: Stainless steel, 76mm high. Door hinges shall be fully concealed within the thickness of the door and adjustable to permit the door to come to rest at any position when not latched.

Honeycomb to have a maximum 25mm cell size with a compressive strength of 31 psi..2 Panels to be 25m m thick with 20 Ga cover sheet x 1460mm high set 318mm above floor. Campus PLASTIC SHOWER PARTITION September 22, 2008 Recommissioning Phase 2 Page 2 of HARDWARE.1 Institutional hardware 0.67 Hinges, door latches, door keepers, u channels, and angle brackets are constructed of 18-8S, type 304, heavy guage stainless steel satin finish: one piece, full height hinge is 16ga (1.6mm); one piece door keeper is 8ga (4.4mm); one piece, full height u channels and angle brackets are 18 ga (1.2mm). U-channels secure panels to stiles and angle brackets secure panel and stiles to walls. Door latch slides on a shock resistant nylon track. A locked compartment may be opended from outside by lifting door to disengage latch from keeper. Black rubber bumper on the latch serves as a door bumper. Two vinyl-coated door stops prevent door from being kicked out by vandals. Theft resistant, stainless steel pin head, torx screws to be furnished with door hardware, U-channels and angle brackets. Doors to be equipped with a self-closing hinge by Bobrick. 2.3 FABRICATION.1 Stiles: 19mm thick solid phenolic core with fused melamine surface sheets, 200mm wide x 2160mm high..2 Doors, 19mm thick solid phenolic core with fused melamine surface to sizes indicated x 1470mm high..3 Panels to be 13mm thick solid phenolic core with fused melamine surface to size indicated x 1470 high..4 Polish edges of composite laminated plastic panels.
