2 PRE-QUALIFICATION TENDER NOTICE Applications are invited from the reputed firms/ contractors for short listing of contractors for (i) Furnishing & (ii) Structural glazing work of Institute s building (Basement, GF+7 Floors) at Plot No.C -36,Sector 62,Noida with total construction area of sqft. The details are available in the Institute s website i.e. The last date of submission of application is on or before 5 th May,2016 at 3:30 pm. B. 3 FOR SHORT LISTING OF CONTRACTORS FOR STRUCTURAL GLAZING OF THE BUILDING OF THE INSTITUTE AT PLOT NO C- 36, SECTOR -62,NOIDA WITH REGARD TO PRESS NOTICE ISSUED IN HIDUSTAN TIMES, HIDUSTAN(HINDI) AND MINT ON (A) Brief of the Project The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), a statutory body set up under an Act of Parliament i.e. the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (Act No. 56 of 1980) has purchased a premises i.e. land with building (land 1375 sq. m., building with RCC framed structure ( basement, GF + 7 floor) with total covered area of sq. mt.) at Plot No. C-36, Sector-62, Noida, adjacent to its existing building at Plot No C-37, Sector-62, Noida after obtaining necessary permission from Noida Authority for using the building for its IT Enabled Services( ITES). The building will be utilized for ITES of the Institute including its centralized DATA Centre.. The seller has also obtained the completion certificate from Noida Authority. The Institute invites pre-qualification applications from reputed firms/contractors for Structural glazing work of the entire building and the summary of the proposed work is as under: 1. Name of work Structural glazing work Institute s building (Basement, GF+7 Floors) Plot No.C -36,Sector 62,Noida. 2. Estimated Cost Rs1.00 Crore ( tentative ) 3. Total construction area sqmt or Sqft. 4. Description of the Proposed work Structural glazing work of Institute s building including ACP and external cladding works, external civil works, spandrel glass panels, spider glazing and curtain walling, aluminium works, open able panels canopies etc. 5. Period of completion 4 ( four ) Months from the date of issue of LOI or Work Order. The site is available. (B) Terms and conditions for pre-qualification for short listing of contractors Contractors who fulfill the following requirements shall be eligible to apply: i) Should have satisfactorily completed at least two similar works costing not less than Rs Lakh during the last five years. Copies of work order as well as completion certificate from client to be submitted as proof of the same. Similar work means: Structural glazing of Building ( G+ 5 to 8 Storied with front at least 10 to 20 mt width) with combination of toughened glass, Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) Sheet or similar/equivalent External Wall Cladding sheet

4 ii) Should have average annual financial turnover of Rs.2.0 crore or more on Structural glazing work during the last three years.i.e , and Copies of balance sheet and profit and loss account duly audited/ certified by a Chartered Accountant to be submitted along with the application. iii) Should not have incurred loss in last two years ending 31 st March, iv) Should have a solvency of Rs.1.0 Crore certified by their bankers. v) Workshop to be in the Bidders name i.e in the name of firm which is applying. vi) Working Capital as per audited Balance sheet should be minimum 1.25 times of the estimated cost as on 31st march 2015 also supported by Charted Accountant certificate Contractors satisfying the above criteria [serial no.(i) to (vi) may send their Profile at the following address: The President The Institute of Company Secretaries of India ICSI House, 22, Institutional Area Lodi Road, New Delhi The last date of receipt of applications in a sealed envelope in a sealed tender box kept in the 3 rd floor of above building is on or before 5 th May,2016 at 3:30 pm. Applications received after cutoff date and time will not be considered. The sealed applications will be opened on 6 th May,2016 at 11:30 am at aforesaid address. The representatives of the applicants, if they wish, may remain present while opening of the same. The applicants may inspect the building during office hours with prior intimation before submission of the application. 1. Application for pre-qualification should be accompanied by i) Type of firm, i.e. proprietorship, partnership, private limited, limited company, etc. along with list of its directors, ii) List of works (structural glazing)completed during the last five years giving the size of the building ( area of structural glazing executed), cost, location and dates of commencement and completion for each work with performance certificates and detailed address of the contact persons along with their telephone numbers and - IDs. Inspection, if required, will be done by the Institute for assessment of quality/ performance of the work executed. iii) Photographs of minimum one recently executed projects, iv) Details of works in hand. Inspection, if required, will be done by the Institute for assessment of resource management, work culture, feedback from the clients and experience of cocoordinating services with architecture. v. Copies of (a) PAN Card certificate, (b) Sales Tax registration certificate (c) VAT/ WCT registration certificate, (d) Service Tax registration Certificate. vi. List of equipment and machinery. vii. Names and qualifications of professionals and technical personnel who have been in the Employment for more than two years.

5 viii. Workshop, office, warehouse details ix. Proof of registration /empanelment with Govt/PSU/Reputed organizations. 2. A list of arbitration cases, projects abandoned and legal cases pending in the courts involving the applicant together with the status of the cases may kindly be furnished. 3. If it is found at the later stage that any information furnished by applicant is incorrect or has suppressed any material fact, the applicant shall be liable to be debarred from tendering/taking up of the work in full or in part. The Institute may verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently including the inspection of completed works. 4. The Institute reserves right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason whatsoever. Mere submission of application does not entitle for qualifying the short listing process. 5. The applications will be evaluated based on the criteria attached ( Annexure I). The short listed /qualified applicants only will be issued tender documents ( both technical bid and commercial bid) for participating in tender process. This decision and basis of judgement and arrival of short listing cannot be contested and neither Institute would share this data with any individual/organization/bidder and institute's decision based on this criteria of short listing suitable Contractors/firms cannot be challenged/contested in any forum /Court.
