2 2 Introduction For well over 20 years the Pendock HVAC casing system has been the choice of countless architects, specifiers and commercial interior designers, who have demanded a flexible, practical and aesthetic solution to conceal interior building services - particularly HVAC and climate control systems. From the outset, we created the Linea casings range not only to meet these needs, but also to be quick and simple to install. Our pre-finished, curved ply technology ensures we can match any interior design scheme and provide a bespoke casing solution to meet your detailed requirements. Linea also forms part of a much larger range of casing and enclosure products to conceal internal and external structural columns and interior building services, providing a truly integrated solution. Like the Linea range, these products can also be specified with a choice of finishes, including real wood veneers, laminates, melamine and natural, to integrate seamlessly with any interior design. Pendock has an unrivalled reputation for aesthetic, well engineered, and cost effective solutions for concealing building services. Our experience of working with architects, specifiers and contractors is both wide-ranging and highly detailed, covering commercial and public sector contracts, which means you can have total confidence in specifying Pendock. 3 4 Form & Function Aesthetics At a superficial level, concealing HVAC systems in refurbishment or new build projects is a straightforward task. It s just a case of applying a cover to hide heating emitters, air-conditioning or other equipment. But, the need to maintain the performance efficiency of HVAC systems and ensure that the interior design is not compromised by basic and unattractive casings, with poor joints and extended snagging procedures, automatically places greater demands on the designer and the solution. The Pendock Linea system is the perfect combination of form and function. Space saving design incorporating the smooth curves of our Linea MX or angled cill profile of the Linea TK casing, together with a choice of grilles to maintain heating and cooling efficiency, are standard features in the range Add to these the wide choice of finishes, design flexibility and the innovative Steelfix framework system and it s not surprising that Pendock Linea is usually regarded as the datum when specifying HVAC casings. & Integration The task of creating comfortable and attractive building interiors has never been more demanding. The choice of styles, materials and finishes available is immense and yet the objectives of maximising space and providing flexibility for future changes in layout, remain consistent features in most specifications. Linea is designed to meet these key needs, as well as providing a palette of finishes and colour options to integrate with any interior design solution. Clean and clear lines, a choice of cill profiles and a virtually limitless choice of colours, including wood veneers and high pressure laminates, all make a significant contribution to the final aesthetics of any interior scheme. In addition, Pendock Linea can integrate fully with existing design schemes. Whether the project is an interior refurbishment or a completely new design concept, the Linea system is totally flexible, giving the designer and specifier a vast amount of freedom to create the ideal interior solution. 5

4 6 Core Products Not all HVAC projects are the same. Different heating systems, alternative component configurations and the structure and layout of the building s interior all have an impact on the nature of the installation. Interior design needs also to play a large part in defining the look of the casing system and the most suitable profile, which is why we offer two cill options. The Linea MX and the Linea TK allow additional design freedom, whilst maintaining an ideal balance between practicality, aesthetics, form and function. Natural Cane Antique White Beyond Boundaries Conventional methods of enclosing HVAC systems, either manufactured from steel or site made joinery are often lacking in terms of aesthetics and consistency of fit and finish. Also, access for routine maintenance and inspection, if not impaired, can involve the time consuming removal of complete sections, which adds to ongoing costs. Pendock Linea addresses all of these issues. Innovations such as our unique Steelfix framework system, removes the need for fixing battens completely and is made off-site to allow the Linea range to be easily installed. The design of Steelfix also allows quick, easy and unrestricted access for maintenance, saving time and cost. Linea has been designed to support architectural creativity, providing highly aesthetic and practical interior design solutions to meet the most demanding specifications. From its launch, the Linea range has been the preferred choice for countless interior HVAC casing installations. Since then the range has been refined, developed and enhanced to improve the performance, simplify specification and provide an integrated finish. Pendock Linea is a perfect example of how we think beyond boundaries and deliver beyond expectations. Linea TK Linea MX and TK Both Pendock Linea MX and TK casings are available in a diverse range of finishes to give exceptionally wide design flexibility and integrate easily with interior colour schemes, whether existing or new. All products in the range can be specified from a choice of real wood veneers or laminated finishes. Colour Options Linea MX These are the six most popular finishes in the Linea range. A wide range of custom finishes are also available on request. Clear Maple Dusty Jade Copper Beech Country Cherry Natural Beech Light Oak 7

Installation At the heart of the Pendock Linea system is our unique Steelfix framework structure. Precision manufactured for accuracy and stability, Steelfix does away with wooden fixing battens completely. This can save upto 40% on installation time and provides a strong support framework for the decorative perimeter casing panels, which just slot into place. Steelfix is manufactured off-site in interlocking sections, which can be easily secured to a building s interior wall. As its name suggests, Steelfix is manufactured from steel, which means that the framework has high strength and allows it to be produced from slender profiles, which enables unrestricted access for maintenance and inspection once the facing panels are unclipped and removed. Pendock Underfloor provides a simple, effective and virtually hidden solution for the management of building services, including pipe work and cabling. The two-part system comprises a pre-formed tray, produced from hot dipped galvanised mild steel and a durable 12mm plywood access cover. 11
