4 LONGDEN CHIPPENDALE/SHERATON/COPELAND 60 DATA SHEET CF General This door leaf has been fire tested and is certified by CERTIFIRE as being capable of providing fire resistance of 60 minutes integrity and 60 minutes insulation (if incorporating not more than 20% of uninsulating glass) as defined in BS 476: Part 22: 1987, when installed in accordance with the following conditions. Subject to these, the door would be expected to meet the relevant requirements of BS9999 for FD 60 doorsets when used in accordance with the provisions therein. In recognition of this, the leaf carries a prefixed label on the top or hanging edge of the door, issued under the terms of the CERTIFIRE scheme. This label uniquely identifies the door leaf, the manufacture of which complies with a CERTIFIRE approved Quality Management System and is subject to on-going surveillance. This label shall not be removed. It is emphasised that the certification is conditional upon the following instructions being complied with in their entirety. Failure to do so will invalidate this approval and may jeopardise the fire performance of the door. Door assemblies supplied pre-fitted with components by Leaderflush Shapland may be considered to meet the requirements in respect of those items. 2. Door Leaf Dimensions This approval is applicable to single-action, single and double-leaf, latched and unlatched, assemblies at leaf dimensions up to those detailed within table 1 below. Door Assembly Configuration Maximum Height (mm) Maximum Width (mm) Area (m 2 ) Single-Acting, Single-Leaf (Latched) 2540 mm (at 1024 mm wide) 1176 mm (at 2211 mm high) 2.60 m 2 Single-Acting, Single-Leaf (Latched/unlatched) 2140 mm (at 930 mm wide) 930 mm (at 2140 mm high) 2.00 m 2 Single-Acting, Double-Leaf (Latched/unlatched) 2300 mm (at 926 mm wide) 926 mm (at 2300 mm high) 2.13 m 2 Double-Acting, Single-Leaf 2230 mm (at 759 mm wide) 826 mm (at 2040 mm high) 1.70 m 2 Double-Acting, Double-Leaf 2230 mm (at 759 mm wide) 826 mm (at 2040 mm high) 1.70 m 2 Under no circumstances must the maximum height, maximum width or maximum area be exceeded without separate CERTIFIRE approval. The smaller leaf of a double-leaf doorset incorporating unequal sized leaves should be rendered inactive by top and bottom flush bolts protected by nominally 1 mm thick Interdens intumescent material. Where the smaller leaf is less than 30% of the width of the larger leaf, the doorset is also to be latched. Page 1 of 8
