Print HPL from our supplier Abet Laminati. Acoustic tissue at the backside x 1200 x 18mm. Transversal grooves in the core. Placed on a wooden frame (thickness 70mm) filled with rockwool (50mm). TYPE D-wide = big interval. Interval 13.2mm, groove 2.8mm. Perforation of 8.75%. Placed on a wooden frame (thickness 70mm) filled with rockwool (50mm). TYPE D-smal= narrow interval. Interval 5.2mm, groove 2.8mm. Perforation of 17.5%. POSSIBILITIES: TOP LAYER... : CORE... : Standard is PRINT HPL layer of our supplier Abet Laminati. There are more than 750 modern and classic prints to choose from. Fire retardant laminates M1 are an option. Our acoustic panels are also available with veneer top layer, laquered (satin, gloss or textured) to your wishes or with a digital print. Standard MDF core. (Black) Fire retardant MDF (B-s1-d0), black MDF or even an other type of core (plywood, solid,...) are frequently used options. 9

2 PRINT HPL LAMINATES Material consisting of layers of kraft paper impregnated with thermosetting resins and an outer layer, on one or both sides, of decorative paper impregnated with aminoplastic resins; all bonded together by means of heat (150 C) and high pressure (9 MPa). Produced according to the European standard EN 438 I/II. Fire retardant laminates M1 are an option. Colours: There are more than 750 modern and classic prints to choose from. Our acoustic panels are also available with veneer top layer, laquered (satin, gloss or textured) to your wishes or with a digital print. STORAGE Our acoustic panels can be stored both vertically and horizontally. It is recommended to have them acclimatized for at least 48 hours before mounting. For reasons of their composition and structure acoustic panels are intended for use in clean rooms with a relative humidity between 35 and 55% and a temperature between 14 and 30 C. Print Acoustics panels Chipboard with larger dimensions than the acoustic panels. Print Acoustics panels Incorrect storage. 11

3 MOUNTING Below you will find some installation methods. MOUNTING WITH SPECIFIC NAILER: We recommend to use brads of the brand Paslode. Start mounting a wooden frame against the wall. Wooden battens eg 58x70mm must be installed horizontally or vertically every 60 up against the wall. Between these battens you can optionally place an insulating board. Often these isolation plates have a thickness of 50 mm so that there is always a gap left between the acoustic panels and the insulation. By working with different types of insulation or insulation thicknesses (with adequate thickness of the wooden frame), you will obtain different acoustic results. We recommend that you work with a gap of at least 2.5mm per meter at the borders of the room. Wooden frame Print Acoustics Insulating board Wall Gap of at least 2.5mm per meter at the borders of the room. 60 cm Specific nailer: Senco FinishPro 25XP with adapted head for the different types of acoustic panels. We recommend you to use Senco brads AX18EAA 42 mm (Ref ). You can buy or hire this adapted nailer from Triplaco. 12

4 We recommend to finish the interior and exterior angles with a non perforated panel or zone of +-100mm. 100 mm GLUING: Gluing to the wall is an alternative installation method of our acoustic panels. PROFILE SYSTEM: We also have a simple profile system. You can snap our Print Acoustics panels on the wall-mounted aluminum profiles. Some possibilities: Adjustable recess cladding profile Clip Lateral cladding profile Lateral cladding profile End profile 13
