4 Overhead Protection Systems (OPS) Refractory OPS OPS are without a doubt, the safest, most efficient and cost effective form of protection for personnel and infrastructure available today.can be installed and commissioned in under an hour, OPS will save you time. This pressure prevents any objects from falling (free fall of materials). Compared to standard practices of fall arrest systems, the OPS prevents objects from falling eliminating the hazard. 5 Overhead Protection Systems (OPS) Underground OPS The underground OPS operates by the same principals as the refractory OPS, exerting pressure on all surfaces it come into contact with it eliminates the risk of any freefall of materials onto personnel who need to enter the area. 7 Ventilation Controls Ventstop The Ventstop comes complete with a steel storage/deployment crate. Simply place the crate in the middle of the drive/drift, fold down the sides, spread the Ventstop out (on top of crate) and inflate. The deployment process can take as little as 15 minutes. Re-usable and repairable Minvent Solutions provides on-site training and installation supervision. Train the Trainer format, individual or groups. 8 Ventilation Controls EPASS E.P.A.S.S. is the Emergency Personnel Access Safety System. EPASS has been specifically engineered and designed to provide the end user with a rapid response, multi functional ventilation stopping. Using the Ventstop cube profile that is designed to facilitate most drive/drift/tunnel/ horizontal voids, we have now added an access through the stopping, with a variety of entry and exit covers to maintain sealing integrity. The EPASS comes with its own transportation/storage unit (with forklift facilities) that doubles as a solid and secure base under the access tunnel. The system is re-usable and repairable. The EPASS has the capability of being in full operational mode in under 20 minutes once it has been delivered to the desired location. The EPASS is designed to client s requirements, and is also available in F.R.A.S.(Fire Retardant Anti Static) fabrics with or without heat shielding options. To compliment this and expand on the functional use, a transition section has been added to facilitate various foaming machines and other types of fire fighting aids. 6.

10 Ventilation Controls Emergency Seals Located in a predetermined fixed position to seal off any heading, from main access portals to conveyor drifts. Available with 5psi or 10psi rating and constructed using certified FRAS materials, these emergency seals are suitable for use in any coal mine. 8.

12 Ventilation Controls Rapid Brattice The FRAS Regulator Brattice can be attached to the roof of the roadway and has the capacity to roll up to the roof with only 150mm to 200mm hang-down. At less then 100cm wide when inflated it will easily fit in between the roof bolts/ground support. Numerous tie-down points are provided for use in areas where Ventilation volumes are higher. The system comes in A deployment cover, complete with ropes, pulleys and tiedowns, a 1.8m high x 1.0m wide zipped man door. The entire system minus the bottom pipe rail weighs only 45Kg. Configuration can be changed to suit site requirements, e.g. larger/multiple or no door-way, single central vertical pillar etc 10.

13 Ventilation Controls Regbratt (regulating Brattice) All brattices including Regbratt, Portabratt and associated products are portable efficient and cost effective ventilation controls for temporary or permanent installations. 14 Inflatable Formwork Shaft Plug Inflatable Formwork encompasses shaft plugs, shaft/void forming liners and rehabilitation systems. The latest plug was created to seal of a ventilation raise where a 10 metre concrete plug was poured and set on top of the Minvent Solutions inflatable form work. This technology is also suitable to carry out and reline shaft/pass/raise bore rehabilitation and most vertical sealing requirements. Horizontal applications such as drift/drive reclamation/rehab, fallout replacement, water sealing, cement lining and a number of other options and applications. The Minvent Shaft Plug Systems are safe, cost effective and efficient. 12.

15 Inflatable formwork SlotSure The SlotSure encompasses our inflatable technology. A pre-determined diameter inflatable tube is lowered and suspended over the collar of the open stope/void down the to the next level. The system is then inflated to required pressure prior to the (paste) back filling cycle commencing. The inflated tube maintains an open void for the entire height of the required slot area Post back filling the tube is simply deflated leaving an open slot ready for stope production drilling. There are opportunities for the SlotSure to be re-used when and where practical under some conditions. How-ever the time and money saved through not having to drill and sequence blast out a conventional slot rise by far outweighs the cost of these systems. Avoid the consequence of drilling and then blasting out a slot, when a very cost effective alternative is available. 13.

16 Other Products Blast Hole Liners Minvent Solutions manufacture and supply Blast Hole Liners of all shapes and sizes using high quality PVC in standard FR or FRAS. Our blast hole liners are fully welded making them 100% air/water tight. They are also extremely robust and abrasion resistant. Suitable for up and down holes under multiple conditions. Blast Hole Liners are available in standard 50 metre lengths or can be manufactured to customers desired lengths.. Blast Hole Liners to suit standard drill sizes are kept in stock, any custom diameter size/s can be manufactured upon request. Acoustic Socks Minvent Solutions manufacture Acoustic Socks using high quality PVC coated mesh. 18 Other Products Concertina Ducting (Elephant Trunks) Minvent Solutions manufactures concertina ducting in diameters ranging from 500mm to 1400mm. Available in standard FR and FRAS P.E.,PVC. Constructed to suit positive/negative pressure systems. Constructed with individual rings (not spiral) to provide the most robust re-enforced flexible ducting available. Venturi (Air Movers) Minvent Solutions Venturi is used to inflate and maintain the operating pressure of a Minvent System. Used in conjunction with a Control Box or directly from site air supply the Venturi is a fast and easy system to use. With no moving parts the Venturi is ideal for use in the rugged conditions encountered underground or on an industrial site. The Venturi is also suitable to ventilate small confined areas and for dust suppression when connected with a water line. 16.

19 Other Products Control Box and Alarm Systems The Control Box is used to inflate, regulate and monitor the operating pressure of Minvent Solutions products. The Control Box comes standard with every system. Spares can be ordered When used with an OPS the comprehensive Audible/visual Alarm System is available with full point of activity Monitoring (Alarm System). If any conditions change the confined space sentry will be immediately notified via the remote alarm. 17.
