2 2 ETERNIT ETERNIT SANDRINGHAM PANTILE A fully interlocking, large format, clay pantile, available in a choice of 8 colours and suitable for roof pitches down to 22 on new or refurbishment projects. Sandringham Pantiles offers the character and beauty, durability and weatherability of natural clay roofing, with the added benefits of an economical covering capacity, speed and ease of laying. PRECISION MANUFACTURING Sandringham Pantiles are manufactured by pressing in closed metal moulds, which ensures perfect edges and exact fitting. FULLY PROVEN Sandringham Pantiles have been successfully used on new build and renovation projects throughout Europe. EASY TO LAY The tile has an extra free motion of 20 mm in the cover length and 6 mm in the cover width. Irregularities in the construction of the roof can be effortlessly evened out by shifting the tiles. 4 4 ETERNIT ROOF ARRANGEMENT RAFTER LENGTH AND ROOF WIDTH Calculating the rafter length: Division of rafters into average tile-covering lengths 1 Eaves-batten distance The eaves-batten distance is established first, i.e. the distance between the foot of the rafter and the upper edge of the eaves-batten. 2 Ridge construction Then Dimension B (the distance between the ridge apex and the top tiling batten) is established, taking into account the construction of the ridge.
