1 Parks & Recreation Department 9355 East Stockton Blvd. Ste. 185 Elk Grove, CA REQUEST FOR WRITTEN BIDS TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS DATE: January 13, 2017 Bid Manager: Marni Lutz, Recreation Supervisor I Bid Due Date: Monday, January 23, pm PROJECT NAME: TENT, EQUIPMENT & POWER DISTRIBUTION SERVICES - SPECIAL EVENTS PROJECT DESCRIPTION The (CSD), a special district local government agency serving south Sacramento County, is seeking competitive bids for Tents, Equipment and Power Distribution Services for the 2017 Elk Grove GIANT Pumpkin Festival on October 7 & 8, PROJECT LOCATION: Elk Grove Regional Park 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road, Elk Grove CA (Please see Exhibit A-Bid Form) BID FORM All Proposals shall be made upon the Bid Form, attached hereto as Exhibit A. Please direct questions prior to the Proposal submission time specified below in writing to Marni Lutz, Recreation Supervisor I Proposals shall be submitted to the District via Fax, Mail or by no later than Monday, January 23, 2017, at 4:00 PM to: Marni Lutz 9355 East Stockton Blvd, Ste. 185 Elk Grove CA, Fax: Phone: marnilutz@csdparks.com Proposals received after the time specified above will be returned. Proposals shall be valid for 90 calendar days after the time specified above. AWARD OF CONTRACT The District shall award the Contract for the Project to the Bid that is deemed most advantageous to the District. The Board of Directors of the reserves the right to reject any or any proposal and to waive any informality in any Proposal. INSURANCE Contracted Bidder is required to provide a certificate of insurance comprehensive general or comprehensive personal liability coverage for a minimum of $1,000,000 Per Occurrence, $2,000,000 Aggregate naming the Cosumnes Community Services District additional insured. The certificate must name:, 9355 E. Stockton Blvd. Suite #185 Elk Grove, CA The following statement must appear on the certificate: Additional Insured Endorsement names the and the County of Sacramento its directors, agents, or employees are included as additional insured. PAYMENT The prices paid for the various items in the bid proposal shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the finished service as provided in these specifications. The (CSD) is an independent local government entity and a political subdivision of the State of California, established under Government Code Sections and 56439(c). The District provides emergency medical and fire protection services to the cities of Elk Grove and Galt and to unincorporated areas in south Sacramento County, and provides parks and recreation services to the Elk Grove Community. The District encompasses roughly 157 square miles and serves an estimated population of 174,400. The CSD is dedicated to the principles of competition and fairness. The District is committed to ensuring that local taxpayers receive the maximum value for every District expenditure. Toward that goal, we encourage qualified vendors to participate in doing business with the CSD.
