These include particularly the type of weathering, constructive protection, mechanical stress and the choice of the applied colour shades. To obtain a long durability preservation work is necessary in time. Therefore we recommend an annual maintenance. It is recommended to prepare a trial colour sample on the original substrate using the coating system selected in order to assess the final colour shade. 5 In order to lay particular emphasis on the wood structure, the selected colour shade of Aquawood TIG should be darker than the one of Aquawood DSL Q10 SG.
