RTE Run Time Extension 1.04 Performance Requirements A. All lighting products as herein after specified shall be a standard product of the manufacturer, and shall consist of components that will be readily available for future replacement for a period of (3) years. B. Provide all lighting fixtures as shown complete with all hardware necessary to install fixtures. C. All external fasteners shall be stainless steel. D. Fasteners shall be manufactured of non-magnetic stainless steel. E. Luminaire shall be free of light leaks. F. LED package shall be designed around the lumen maintenance of 98% at 60,000 hrs, and is expected to achieve 100,000 hrs. life until L70. G. 2 1. Minimum 30 years experience in the manufacturing of exterior luminaires and 10 years in Solar. 2. Provide reference list of at least ten major installations currently using solar lighting fabricated by the manufacturer. 3. Installers Qualifications: minimum 5 years experience assembling and installing luminaires. 4. All fixtures and electrical components shall be new, of good quality. 5. All fixtures shall meet all required national codes and regulations 1.06 Delivery, Storage and Handling A. Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation. B. Store components off the ground in a dry covered area, protected from adverse weather conditions Warranty A. 5 Year Limited LED Luminaire Warranty - Selux offers a 5 Year Limited LED Warranty to the original purchaser that the Avanza 450 LED luminaire shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for up to five (5) years from date of shipment. This limited warranty covers the LED driver and LED light engine when installed and operated according to Selux instructions. For details and exclusions, see Selux Terms and Condition of Sale. Substitutions: Not permitted Series: AV4LS (Avanza 450 LED Solar Powered Lighting System) A. Is a two-piece high pressure die-cast low-copper aluminum housing B. Lower casting features a tempered glass lens and a built-in hinge that attaches to the upper casting, creating easy access to the light engine. C. A tool-less die cast aluminum latch is used to close the two-piece housing and allows for easy maintenance. D. UV and Ozone Resistant Silicone gasket and screened tempered glass lens protects and seals the optical chamber providing the luminaire with an IP66 rating. E. Luminaire is Dark Sky Friendly IDA-Approved with the 0 Mounting Option Optics A. The luminaire shall be secured to a welded steel mounting arm with Allen head set screws (Single Mount) Page 2 of 5 Rev

(16x) high flux LEDs are driven by a high efficiency DC-DC programmable driver, designed specific for solar luminaires. 1. L17 (89 ma / 17 Watt) 2. L25 (134 ma / 25 Watt) 3. L35 (188 ma / 35 Watt) 4. L50 (268 ma / 50 Watt) a) LED light engine mounted directly to upper aluminum housing for maximum LED performance and life. b) The programmable driver is mounted in control enclosure with all energy management equipment. c) For future upgrades, the LED light engine can be removed without the use of tools. d) Electrical harness to the Luminaire, batteries and solar panels will be provided with quick disconnects CCT A. CCT packages shall be available in 3000K and 4000K. CCT tolerances are to be kept within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse shall maintain a minimum CRI of (3000K) (4000K) 2.07 Finish A. Luminaire finish shall utilize a high quality Polyester Powder Coating 1. WH (White) 2. BK (Black) 3. BZ (Bronze) 4. SV (Silver) 5. SP (Specify Premium Color) a) All luminaires are to be finished in a Tiger Drylac certified facility and undergo a 5 stage intensive pretreatment process where product is thoroughly cleaned, phosphate and sealed. b) Powder coated products shall provide excellent salt and humidity resistances, as well as an ultra violet resistance for color retention. c) All products shall be tested in accordance with test specification for coatings from ASTM and PCL. Part 3 Solar System 3.01 Batteries A. (1-2) 12 Volt maintenance free batteries shall be available in 118, 146 and 176 Amp Hours. Batteries are to be nonspill, absorbed glass matte (AGM) type. 1. B6 (Two 12V 176 Ah) a) Battery capacity shall be rated at a C-100 discharge rate b) Battery(s) are to be mounted to a hinged tray for easy access. c) Battery(s) will be enclosed in a molded recycled ABS compartment with integrated UV protective outer shell. Covers are to be removable and lock into place with no tools Solar Panel Module A. UL Listed class 1/division 2, poly-crystalline photovoltaic modules in (1-2) 110 Watt or (1-2) 140 Watt modules. 1. Dimming levels can be specified with a single number ranging from 1-9. i) E.g. 2 = 20% LED dimmed to 20% power. c) Profile shall be pre-programmed from the factory. d) Pre-programming will be based off of the completed questionnaire. e) (1x) remote control per-project will be provided to the customer. The remote is to allow the customer to adjust the pre-program profile if needed. i) Please contact Selux before adjusting the profile, as the adjusted profile may not work properly for your region or power setting. f) 5 year limited warranty is to be provided by the controller manufacture Controller Features A. Solar controller shall incorporate all of the below features and technologies. 1. Maximum power point tracking resulting in enhanced energy collection 2. Field Programmable lighting profiles 3. IR Remote Control to provide tool-less maintenance tests, programming and diagnostics. 4. Run Time Extension energy management to provide protection in less than average weather/shading conditions. 5. Snow/Sand Coverage protection to prevent day-burning 3.05 Panel Mounting Angle A. A predetermined panel angle, ranging from 3 to 60 will be set by the factory prior to shipping. Angles are determined by the projects location. 1. PM0 (3 tilt) 2. PM1 (15 tilt) 3. PM3 (30 tilt) 4. PM4 (45 tilt) 5. PM6 (60 tilt) a) Panels must always be oriented towards the equator. i) E.g. If installed in the Northern Hemisphere, panels shall be facing to the SOUTH and locations in the Southern Hemisphere, panels shall be facing the NORTH. Page 4 of 5 Rev

5 b) Panel support frame will be fabricated from steel and shall be capable of withstanding 120 mph winds with a 1.3 gust factor without permanent deflection. c) Steel panel support frame, is designed to support the solar panel(s) and battery(s) storage. Frame shall have integrated pole filter to allow for independent orientation to the fixture Finish A. Luminaire finish shall utilize a high quality Polyester Powder Coating or Galvanized finish 1.
