The pipe-sections have a high compressive strength and can withstand foot traffic, however at the same time they are very light-weight with a density of only 66 kg/m 3. The thermal conductivity is: 0,035 W/mK. The installment is fast and easy put the Stenca Pipe around the pipe and tighten the joints with the special Stenca Seal. The product is designed to provide a high effective barrier for thermal and acoustic insulation of pipes, which operates in the temperature range from -50 C to 140 C. Stenca Pipe consists of a unique composition that provides it with high insulation capabilities like makes it low-flame spread. Furthermore, the product is tested for non-combustibility according to BS EN ISO 1182:

Stenca Tank Plates Insulation for Tanks & Vessels From -50 C to 140 C Stenca Tank Plates is used for thermal insulation of tanks and vessels. The Tank Plates consist of 40 mm thick insulation plates, which are easy to handle, mount and cut into the right sizes. The insulation consist of at special developed, low-flame spread foam plates, which have a density of only 66 kg/m 3 and a thermal conductivity of 0,035 W/mK. The Stenca Tank Plates can be delivered with or without silicone coated glass fabric. 07

STENCA HT PIPE pipe insulation for High temperatures Up to 1000 C Stenca HT Pipe and Stenca HT Bends are special developed as fire resistant insulation of pipes operating by high temperatures, and they can be used as passive fire protection. Stenca HT Pipe system is made of Calcium Silicate which is well-known for its non-combustibility and its thermal capabilities. The fire resistant insulation is made as pre-fabricated pipe-sections with a pre-coated silicone coated glass fabric. The insulation sections are very robust with a density of only 245 kg/m 3. The Thermal conductivity by C is 0,07 W/mK. The installment is fast and easy put the Stenca HT Pipe around the pipe and tighten the joints with the special Stenca Fire Seal. The product is designed to provide a high effective barrier for thermal and acoustic insulation of pipes, which operates by high temperatures. 08

Stenca VALVE & Flange Boxes Valve & flange boxes From -50 C to 1000 C The insulation consist of either foam or calcium silicate depending on the operating temperature and fire class. It is the perfect solution for insulation of flanges and valves at places with higher demands. The boxes are easy to install and by inspection they can be taken off and be refitted. The boxes are made of the same material as Stenca Pipe or Stenca HT Pipe which insures a complete insulation system. The Flange and Valve boxes will be pre-fabricated after customer specification and needs to insure optimal fit. The boxes can be made as cylinders or as quadratic. 09

STENCA LNG PIPE LNG Pipe Insulation Production and storage of liquid gas like methanol or ethylene is not possible without special isolation systems. Stenca LNG Pipe insulation is a combined insulation solution consisting of three different layers of molded insulating shells in the special foam used for thermal insulation of gas in process. Each layer is contributing to the insulation, which makes it possible to insulate down to -180 C. The excellent insulating properties of the product make it ideal for insulation of pipes with liquid gas. The outer layer is pre-coated with a silicone coated glass fabric, which is UV-resistant and prevent water penetration. The insulation can withstand extern thermal and mechanical stress. 10

Stenca Noise reduction Acoustic solutions A high noise level onboard ships and platforms lead to a poor work climate, which can result in reduced work capacity, hearing losses and lack of concentration. It may also increase the risk of damages or defects, if communication between the employees fails on behalf of a very high noise level. Stenca Trading offers a wide range of different noise reduction solutions such as acoustic pipe insulation, valve- & flange insulation, and sound absorbing panel solutions for engine room, pump room, compressor room, work areas, accommodations, etc. Noise reduction of pipes, flanges, valves Noise reduction of pipes, flanges, valves, etc. can be made after the NOR- SOK Standards. By using Stenca Pipe for acoustic insulation a good result is guaranteed. By using a solution consisting of either Stenca Pipe or Stenca HT Pipe combined with one or two layers of Stenca Drapery and Filomat (glass fiber mat) the noise level can be reduced by up to 37 db. Most of the insulation can be removed by inspection and reinstalled. By Flanges and valves the insulation consists of special noise reduction mattresses which are easy to take off and refitted by inspection. Acoustic insulation of Bulkhead We offer a solution that reduces noise and vibrations transmitted from the hull into the adjoining room. This solution consists of Visco-rubber and a perforated steel sheet which is mounted directly on the hull behind the insulation. This solution is used on several ships with good results. Sound insulation of walls To insure that noise is not transmitted from room to room in for example accommodations, machine-, pump-, or compressor rooms we can supply different solutions of sound reduction panels. We have a variety of acoustic sandwich panels in different fire and weight classes, which can reduce the noise level from 43 db to 53 db. Our light-weight walls system made of calcium silicate can reduce noise up to 42 db. If more sound reduction is demanded we can offer a solution with our sound absorbing drapery, also known as Sound Stop. By this solution the sound penetration from noisy rooms can almost be eliminated. 11

stenca penetration seal stenca PENETRATION SEAL Stenca penetration seals are developed and tested to meet the very latest industrial standards and have achieved high level of performance to meet the tough requirements in hydrocarbon fire hazard environments. The penetration seals are multi-component systems made from ceramic glass cloth, felts, metallic foils, and silica areogel. The elastomeric and silicone membrane coating has been tested and found totally innocuous under fire conditions. The penetration seals can be adapted to A0/H0, A60/H60, H120, J30/J60 and J120 requirements. The Stenca penetration seals are manufactured according to strict quality controls and in accordance to ISO Throughout testing, the systems have maintained their integrity, stability and insulation properties and accordingly carry certification issued by Lloyds Register of Shipping or Det Norske Veritas (DNV). Stenca Penetration Seals can be adjusted to mobility up to 25 mm in each direction, but can also be constructed to higher demands. The seal protect fire and gas to penetrate into adjoining rooms. By fire demands from A60 a double sided sealing will be necessary. 12

STENCA ISOLATION MATTRESS Flange, valve & exhaust mattresses Stenca Flange, valve and exhaust mattresses are flexible and quite stabile, why they are the perfect solution for insulation of valves, flanges and exhaust pipes; even under the most severe operating conditions. Quite often it is the lack of insulation which causes significant heat and energy losses. The mattresses will be produced to fit project specification to insure that each mattress can be adjusted 100% for the specific task. There are many different types of ceramic glass fabric for the surface depending on the demands; oil resistance, high temperatures (up to 1100 C), etc. The inside filling consists of ceramic insulation material. Depending on position, space and temperature conditions, the mattresses can be fabricated in a thickness of 40 mm to 200 mm. The insulation mattresses are mounted around the flange, valve or exhaust pipe and fastened by Velcro and afterwards secured with straps and buckles. This makes the insulation mattresses easy and fast to install and reinstall after inspections. They are suitable for both thermal and acoustic insulation of pipe lines transporting liquids like in production rooms, power stations, ships, drilling platforms, etc. 13
