1 ART OF COLOR EGGSHELL PAINT The Art of Color products line, because of the high quality of its raw materials, leaves a nice matte finish, while providing maximum performance. This coating has a low VOC and low odor, allowing indoor paint properly prepared. This product has excellent hiding power. It provides lasting color, easy to apply and has excellent leveling. This line has developed a system for measuring color dye, which can get up to 880 different colors, thanks to its base tinting system (Pastel, Tint, Deep and Accent), which allows us to obtain defined pure and clean colors. TECHNICAL DATA Finishing: Eggshell Hegman finesse: 3-4 ph: Colors: Available bases: 858 colors Pastel, Tint, Deep y Accent Theoretical yield: 75 to 107 ft²/l (Note 1) Solids in weight (pastel base): 51 ± 1 % ASTM D Solids in volume (pastel base): 38 ± 1 % ASTM D Presentation: Gallon and bucket Storage stability: 1 year ASTM D (Note 2) Durability paint film: 12 years in dry environment (Note 3) 25 C: UK ASTM D Drying at touch times: 60 min. 2 hours to cover (Note 4) VOC (white): grs/l ASTM D 6093 Density (white): 1.30 ± 0.02 ASTM D Lead and mercury content: Resin Type: 100% free Vinyl-Acrylic Washability: Greater than 5000 cycles (DIN-53778) It fulfills the NMX-C-423-ONNCE-2003 statements as a quality A paint

2 (Note 1): Applied to 25.4 microns (1 mil) dry on smooth surfaces without waste (white). The actual performance of the paint may vary due to the type of surface to be painted, roughness and porosity of the surface, application method used, working conditions, film thickness, paint waste, among others. There is no guarantee that the practical performance for the user is the expressed in this data sheet, because enforcement operations and surface preparation are out of HRC Inc. control. In vivid colors the actual performance of the paint may decrease by 50% compared to white yields. It is recommended to anchor with an HRC sealer or primer before applying the paint. In spray applications, material losses can reach up to 70%. (Note 2): In tightly closed container stored in a cool, dry place under roof. (Note 3): The durability indicated corresponds to tests made by HRC Inc. under controlled conditions indoors and in dry conditions. Durability depends on environmental conditions, weather, type of substrate, substrate conditions, the form of surface preparation and the application method. The durability may decrease due to natural phenomena -of which HRC Inc. has any controls- such as strong winds, hurricanes, salt, sand, high rainfall, high exposure to ultraviolet rays. This durability means that the paint film does not have the following problems or failures: peeling, blistering or chalking. Shall not be considered as a problem or failure other problems or failures in paintings or outside the product as improper surface preparation, misapplication, wear or failure of the substrate, poor follow installation instructions, discoloration, among other flaws. Some shades may vary over time, especially in applications outside. (Note 4): At 25 C, 50% relative humidity applied at 150 wet microns. SURFACE PREPARATION Every surface before coating should cover the following conditions: must be clean. Remove from the surface any material that prevents paint from adhering to the surface, such as dust, grease, loose paint, rust, mildew, dirt, etc. Remove all with a wash water pressure, allowing perfectly dry the surface before painting or by mechanical methods such as a wire brush or carding machine all loose or damaged paint. There must be no surface moisture.

3 METHODS OF SURFACE PREPARATION FOR MEDIA TYPE NEW SURFACES Masonry surfaces, concrete, and similar materials. NOTE: These surfaces must be at least 28 days after being cast. Wash the surface with a solution of 1 muriatic acid part by 3 water parts. The solution will effervesce on the surface. Rinse the surface with water to remove the excess of acid. Repeat the procedure until effervescence has stopped. Rinse the surface with water and let dry completely. Measure the ph of the surface and if it is greater than 9, apply a coat of Alfa primary vs high alkalinity PSA-0; if more than 12 apply 2 coats. PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES Make sure the surface does not present paint peeling, chalking problems or moisture, otherwise remove the materials into the substrate presenting this problems, since may cause failure adhesion of the paint. It should be treated as new surface. Patching holes and cracks and dry the surface. Apply solution of 1 part of muriatic acid by 3 parts of water over the repairs made with cement materials. Rinse perfectly with clean water. Let dry completely and apply the Alfa primary vs high alkalinity PSA-0 on you repair. CONCRETE SURFACES WITH EFFLORESCENCES Identify the source of moisture. Eliminate or control the flow of moisture through the surface. Sometimes it will require a specialist as a plumber, architect or engineer. Remove efflorescence, loose paint and flattened damaged. Repair damaged areas; sometimes it will require a specialist. Treat the surface as new surface. GYPSUM SURFACES WITH CHALKING OR DUSTING PROBLEMS This problem can occur in both old plasters were wetted by water seepage, and new casts that were not installed properly (casts that went wrong diluted to prepare the plaster-water or casts that were beginning to forge mixture. This results a powdery and soft surface). In the case of new plasters can detect the problem by sanding the walls to eliminate imperfections. The sandpaper will clog and dust will stick as dough in the sandpaper. In these cases should apply the Alfa adhesion promoter primary solvent based. Apply the product diluted 20 to 30% with solvent and allow to dry for 4 to 6 hours. Then apply two coats of paint. Also make sure to clean the dust from sanding the surface with a clean, damp cloth until the surface does not present dusting because otherwise the adhesion of the system will fail, appearing as flaking.

4 APLICATION METHODS Brush, regular roller or microfiber roller. Dilute the paint up to 15% with clean water. Airless Spray: Dilute the paint maximum 20% with clean water. PRECAUTIONS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING PRODUCT The ambient temperature must be above 10 C and substrate temperature should not exceed 30 C. Relative humidity should be below 85%. Never apply against the sun. Apply in hours where this does not happen, either, use tents or tarps for shade. Do not apply outside if there is rain forecast in the application the following 72 hours. MATERIAL PREPARATION Mix the paint with a clean shovel and stir in a circular motion from the bottom of the container out, trying to seamlessly incorporate all the material until it is free of settlements and have a uniform color. Strain before application. WARNING: DO NOT SMOKE AND NOT TO EAT DURING APPLICATION. IF SWALLOWED DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. AVOID DIRECT CONTACT; THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT BY CHILDREN SHOULD BE SUPERVISED BY ADULTS. Do not mix with any other material or products other than those listed on this sheet. In the event that during application of the coating, the client came to see any obvious problem in the product such as color difference, product contamination problems in the implementation, freeze, cream, among others, it is your responsibility to suspend the application before it has been applied no more than 100 m², give immediate notice to HRC Inc. and present the facts in writing. Otherwise, HRC Inc. will cover only the amount equivalent to an area not exceeding 100 m² if the product claim is approved. HRC Inc. recommends doing preliminary tests to ensure the results and determine the actual performance in each particular case.
