LUMPSUM Excavate catchment area to a slope of 1:20 commencing at 200mm below ground level average depth 225mm and compact Provide, place and compact 200mm hardcore to a fall of 1:20 as shown on the drawing Provide, place and compact 50mm blinding layer to a fall of 1:20 as shown on the drawing Provide and place reinforced (wire mesh) 75mm thick mass concrete in 1:2:4 mix to a 1:20 fall, floor slab on top of hardcore. The floor slab to be made in square strips M3 of 2m x 2m as directed on site. Allow for expansion joints in between the strips and apply bitumen as directed by the engineer Provide and place 20mm thick cement, sand screed in 1:3 ratio to a fall of 1:20 on the floor slab. M Excavate 450mm trench commencing 200mm below ground level but not exceeding 1.5m deep and deposit as directed by the engineer. M Provide place and compact reinforced (Y 10) concrete 1:2:4 in 450mm wide strip foundation for wall, in thickness of 100mm. M3 3 SUB TOTAL

2 Balance Brought Forward 1.9 Provide, place and joint 225mm thick coral dressed stone foundation wall in 1:3 cement sand mortar Provide, place and joint 225mm thick coral dressed stone superstructure wall in 1:3 cement sand mortar Provide, prepare and apply 1:3 cement sand plaster 20mm thick to both internal and external sides of catchment wall Break through the djabia wall to make holes 150mm diameter to fit inlet an overflow pipes and make good. NO Provide, place and joint 3 No. pieces of 150mm diameter P.V.C pipes, place screens on the inlet of the pipe to filter harvested water into the djabia. LUMPSUM Provide, place and fix Y12 bars to catchment strip foundation for laying of the concrete slab as directed by the engineer. M Provide, place and fix wire mesh gauge 6 to catchment floor for laying of the concrete slab as directed by the engineer. 250 TOTAL TO BE CARRIED TO SUMMARY SHEET

Allow for curing Provide, place and joint 225mm thick dressed coral stone tank wall in 1:3 cement sand mortar as directed by the engineer Provide, prepare and apply 1:3 cement sand plaster of 25mm thick to internal sides of tank wall. M Provide and fix Y10 reinforcement bars in concrete foundation of tank bottom as shown on drawings directed by engineer. M Roofing Provide and fix cypress timber rafters size 100mm x 50mm on roof of tank at 600/C/C. M Provide and fix cypress timber purlins size 50x 50mm on top of rafters size 100mm x 50mm on roof of tank at 500/C/C as shown on drawing. M Provide and fix G.I.pre-painted sheets gauge 28 size 3m x 1m to the roof of the tank Provide and fix cypress timber 150 x 25mm timber wall plate as shown on drawing. M 32 Sub total

5 Balance Brought Forward 4.3 Provide a manhole opening of size 600mm x 600mm on top of roof with a lockable cover. NO Provide and erect hardwood poles for fencing, of height 2.5m, and 1.5m c/c above ground level to receive barbed wire around the djabia. M Provide and fix barbed wire gauge 14 to poles to make the fence for djabia perimeter.5no. struds M Provide and apply bondex joint ¾ x ¾ between wall and floor slab as shown on drawing and directed by engineer. KG Provide a ventilation of 200mm x 200mm on the wall of the tank and fix gauge wire as directed by the engineer. NO Clear site of all building waste and level ground properly so that it is clean to the satisfaction of the engineer. LUMPSUM Allow for transport, and supervision costs.
