2 Bifrost Wood Plastic Composite Wall Panels Adhesive Mounted Wall Panels Bifrost WPC wall panel is the ultimate versatile easy to fit waterproof and fireproof panelling system. The basic board is made of PVC, wood fiber,calcium powder and other addtives. The surface is with simulating natural marble texture and UV varnish,designed to deliver a smooth, tough, hard-wearing, stain-resistant and totally hygienic surface. (The surface also can laminate PVC film, HPL film and Acrylic film.) IMPORTANT: It is important that you follow and adhere to all of the instructions to ensure the most effective use of the product. To maintain the validity of your guarantee you MUST follow the installation instructions provided. Failure to do this will make all aspects of the guarantee invalid. If there is any aspect of your particular installation that these instructions do not cover please clarify any queries before commencing your installation. Your particular installation may require specific procedures and adjustments. 4 Adhesive Fasteners, Sealants and Cleaners Bifrost panels should be installed with a quality trowel grade non-flammable or latex based panel or construction adhesive. NOTE: The water-borne family of adhesives, including latex and non-flammable based formulas, will not bond two impervious surfaces to each other. Because Bifrost panels are impervious to moisture, the wall being covered must be porous enough to allow for adhesive drying. Wall finishes that are moisture proof must be removed or otherwise prepared to insure that there is adequate adhesive curing. Always follow adhesive manufacturer s directions completely. Recommended Tools for installation Ensure all tools are used safely and correctly and appropriate safety wear such as gloves, eye and ear protection are used. WALL PREPARATION If the existing wall finish is wall paper, heavy gauge sheet, linoleum or slimilar material, it should be inspected for loose areas. If loose areas of existing substrates are discovered, they should be removed. All new or existing wall substrates should be examined. They must be clean, smooth, dry and free of oils,loose paint and /or joint compound dust prior to installation Panel Size Measurement The wall panels should be cut using either a table saw or circular saw with a carbide tooth blade.always use a straight edge or guide to insure straight cuts when using a circular saw. A jigsaw should be used when making cutouts such as electrical outlets, fire extinguisher cabinets,etc.always cut so that the blade ratates into the finished side of the panel or backside up. Measurements shoud be taken from doorrame to doorframe, doorframe to inside corner, inside corner to inside corner,etc. Refer to the back page for deduction allowances Always use cut edges at the beginning or the end of a run. Never use cut edges at a joint between panels (unless square edge panels have been specified.) It is recommended that multi-panel runs have equal end pieces. Verify panel locations on the project drawings if available 3

5 Cutting the wall Panel Cutting the walll panel into suitable size Can us handsaw,circular saw, jigsaw etc tools to cutting If any place need whole, please blade or drill make a hole first. Install the Wall Panel 1. Spread adhesive over the entire back of the panel following manufacturer s directions for trowel notch size and working temperature. Press spreader so that teeth touch panel. Leave only ridges of adhesive on the panel. APPLYING THE PANEL Position the panel and press against the wall. Take care to insure that the panels are not fitted too tightly. Use a laminate roller over the entire surface of the panels to ensure that there is even and to ensure that there is even and complete adhesive contact with the wall at all points. Remove fresh adhesive and/or caulk. Remind: when stick the panel, cannot move or re-stick. Edge and hole treatment Use the accessories to deal with the edge, corner and hole. 6 Cleaning and Maintanence After installation panels may be cleaned with non-abrasive all purpose cleaners or soaps. For difficult stains such as felt marker or graphite, use Mineral Spirits or Acetone sparingly. Labels can be soaked off with penetrating oil. Finish, Enjoy your wall!
