The Processing plant was designed from the bottom up to be fully automated, cutting operating costs by up to 25%. Every process has been streamlined to reduce manual handling. From the moment steel is transferred from ship to shore, our state of the art 0 tonne magnetic cranes automatically move the material to dedicated storage bays. When the steel is required for processing it is then moved on to the conveyor system where it is automatically guided through our plant by our CNC system to be cut, mitred, sawn, drilled, coped, notched, part marked and shotblasted & primed.
