3 04 05 Galvanised Steel Subframe Deck Board U.K Sundecks as a company only use a galvanised steel subframe, the reasoning behind this decision is simple, longevity. Timber subframes do not last, when exposed to water encased in PVC they will rot, meaning that after only a few short years your deck will likely need replacing. This does not happen with the heavy duty 6 galvanised steel subframe we use for our installations. We also reinforce our handrails and posts as standard with galvanised steel thus giving your sundeck a solid structure. We will guarantee our subframes for 10 years, but this material is designed to last much beyond this timescale. Another benefit of using a steel subframe is the ease of which it can me removed and re-sited should the need for this ever arise, this can be very difficult with a timber subframe, due to fixings rusting. Furthermore with the rest of the decking components having a Class 1 Fire Rating, a timber subframe would contradict this, potentially along with park fire regulations. U.K Sundecks are able to offer a wide range of deck board styles and colours which can then be complimented with a colour co-ordinating handrail. Usually you would match the colour of your deck boards to the exterior of the home and the handrails would be matched with the colour of the window frames. We have a range of PVC deck boards, which comes in 6 different colours. All our deck boards have UV stabilisers manufactured in preventing fading, along with excellent anti slip and a natural wood appearance, is what makes our deck boards the perfect choice. We offer a wide range of styles from standard pickets right through to seamless glass, resulting in us being able to meet your requirements. All our solutions are made from galvanized steel subframe and are fully enclosed for increased safety. We believe our steps are some of the best in the industry with pickets in the handrails as standard, along with 6 step risers. We can provide an access solution no matter how simple or complex. As all our deckboards are anti slip this provides a great basis for all access requirements, especially ramps. We can build ramps to any height, based on your requirements and to comply with necessary regulations. 5 08 09 Finishing Touches Making Our Mark WE are chosen for our quality & our efficiency UK Sundecks have certainly made a mark within the industry, we attend a number of shows and exhibitions throughout the year for a number of Caravan and Lodge manufacturers. We have provided installations that meet a wide range of requirements from 16 step access platforms through to bespoke decks for a product launch. Our staff are on hand to help answer any questions or queries customers may have, at the same time being able to show our workmanship on the decks that we exhibit at these events. In order to give your sundeck a personal touch there are several additions that can be made to compliment your decking further. Skirting can be added to your sundeck as well as the rest of your home not covered by the decking area, these are fitted horizontally with a 6mm gap between the planks, giving you a superb finished look. Along with closing in the underside of the home covering the chassis and supplies to the home. We provide access hatches within your quotation, which can be made lockable on request.
