Each Contractor shall coordinate with all other Contractors for satisfactory completion of each item of the addendum and the total project. The Prime Contractor shall be responsible for seeing that his subcontractors/material suppliers are properly apprised of the contents of this Clarification. The following clarifications, amendments, additions, deletions, revisions, and/or modification are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents, and change the original documents only in the manner and to the extent stated herein. QUESTIONS: 1. Reference is made in the unit masonry spec page 17 to an application of Air Barriers to the cavity per Air Barrier specifications. Those specs are not included - do we have a fluid applied air barrier in this project and where would it be applied. Does the masonry cavity just get the bituminous dampproofing per Exterior Wall assembly 1 noted on drawing 5.33? Bituminous Dampproofing on CMU Walls & Rigid Insulation on Metal Stud Walls. 2. Does Spec section Sheet Waterproofing apply to this project? No. 3. Is it possible to have all the asphalt surface and binder to be type C mix designs? Type C is designated for the L.D. areas but type B for the heavy duty. Paving contractors are telling me type B is an interstate mix that will look different than the type C.?? Please see sheet C3, we do need both type B & C for STANDARD duty asphalt pavement & HEAVY duty asphalt pavement.
