2 Product Overview Rapidshor is a heavy duty galvanised modular steel shoring system with a robust design. Ease of assembly, low cost in use and an extensive range of accessories make it the premier choice in modular shoring. Faster Modular design, minimized component count and integral connections ensure fast erection times. Standard Tilt Heads and Bases accommodate sloping ground and varying slab levels. Uniquely designed ledgers with locking wedge enables quick and easy fixing onto leg cluster. Safer Easier Light but strong mm dia high grade steel standards and 48mm diameter Jacks increase the strength to weight ratio and allow greater jack extensions without bracing. The galvanised finish ensures low maintenance and long life, extending the lifetime of the system. High 80kN leg capacity allows larger grids to be achieved, minimising components - saving erection time and labour costs. Regular patterns of snap on, colour coded braces reduces both erection and inspection costs and compresses site programme times. Enclosed stair towers ensure safe site access. 1

4 Features & Benefits Rapidshor is a modular system ensuring no loose parts or fittings for maximum cost efficiency and safety. Cost reducing design High capacity (80kN leg and 320kN four legged tower loads) dramatically reduces the number of components and associated erection and dismantling costs Lightweight galvanised design Rapidshor's design increases durability, minimises maintenance, eliminates corrosion and assures the integrity of the product. Tilting heads and bases Sloping slabs and ground levels are easily accommodated without the use of wedges, resulting in time and material savings and ultimately lowering costs. 48mm diameter jack with 515mm of adjustment The Rapidshor Jacks have a significant adjustment range with limited bracing, leading to reductions in material, erection time and costs. Skewed grids Grids can easily be skewered to allow for curved structures, with 8 ledger connection locations per rosette. 80kN Leg Load Rapidshor's maximum leg load of 80kN can be achieved even when only tied in 2 directions - making it the ideal solution for towers - saving erection time and labour cost. 3

5 In Detail Large Grids Snap on Braces With ledger sizes up to 3m, unmatched grid sizes can be created, allowing a reduction in components, saving labour time and cost. Braces have a forging at each end, which contains a shaped pin that clicks quickly into the spring latch on the Ledger ends, providing a significant time saving on site in comparison with traditional coupler fixings. Versatile Tilting heads & bases Standards have welded rosettes at 500mm increments symmetrically from each end, allowing standards to be erected either way, speeding up erection times. Tilts up to 30 degrees on the tilt axis, eliminating the need for timber wedges to overcome sloping ground and elevated slabs. 4

6 In Detail Adjustable Jack Skewed Grids With an adjustable range of mm, the jack also has a domed end that enables concentric loading to be guaranteed up to 2.5 degrees of slope in any direction. Each rosette has 8 trapezoidal slots, which are designed to allow a degree of lateral movement prior to the locking of the wedge, to enable irregular shaped structures to be erected without scaffold tube & couplers. Adjustable Braces Stair Access Two sizes of adjustable braces are available, which can be fixed at variable lengths to accommodate all bay width and lift height variations. The shaped pin clicks quickly into ledgers for a secure connection. Modular Rapidshor stair units are used to provide access to one or more boarded levels within a Rapidshor structure. Available in both steel and aluminium. 5
