No No Streambed composition and condition The streambed is silty with some cobbles showing; grasses are growing in the channel on the upstream and downstream sides; the downstream side shows some larger stones. However, any debris would greatly affect the stream flow through the structure due to the limited vertical clearance. Anticipated effect of project on conditions The proposed structure will provide a greater hydraulic opening, thereby lowering or not significantly increasing the backwater elevations, improving flow, and minimizing the chance of overtopping the roadway. 2. 10 Site Location and Conditions - Adjacent Structure Page 1 of 1 Site Location and Conditions Description Downstream Structure The downstream structure carries a local road (Blue School Road) over Morris Run. This structure is a dual cell stone arch. The structure is located at a 90 degree (PennDOT) skew to the roadway and a slight skew to the waterway. The underclearance is approximately 8.8' and each span is approximately 22.5'. There is a 5.5' wide pier between the cells. No debris was noted at this structure. Distance from Project (feet) Direction from Project downstream Effect of Project on Structure The proposed project will have no impact on the existing downstream structure. The downstream structure is located outside of the hydraulic study area. The water elevations downstream of the proposed structure are maintained and therefore the water elevations at the downsteams structure will also be maintained.

11 Site Location and Conditions - Adjacent Structure Page 1 of 1 Site Location and Conditions Description Upstream Structure The nearest structure upstream carries a private driveway over the tributary to Morris Run. The structure consists of a concrete slab bridge with a round concrete pipe adjacent to it. The channel is scoured in the middle causing the underclearance to vary from 3 ft. at the side to 4 ft. at the middle of the channel. The footings of the slab bridge are exposed and undermined. No debris was noted at the structure. Distance from Project (feet) upstream Direction from Project Effect of Project on Structure The proposed structure will have no effect on this structure. The upsream structure is located outside the hydraulic study area. The backwater elevations will tie-in and match existing before this structure.
