Introduction: Technical Information Letter (T.I.L.) CSA MSE- (see Attachment 2) has been prepared to announce CSA s early adoption of approved requirements for rigid PVC pressure pipe, PVC injection-moulded gasketed pressure fittings, and molecularly oriented polyvinylchloride (PVCO) pressure pipe. Background and Rationale: The CSA Technical Coittee on Plastic Pressure Piping recently approved additional and updated requirements in CSA B137 for rigid PVC pressure pipe, PVC injection-moulded gasketed pressure fittings, and PVCO pressure pipe, as detailed in T.I.L. CSA MSE-. Industry has requested that CSA adopt these additional and updated requirements as the basis for Certification of these products as applicable, in advance of publication of the new requirements as part of new editions of the subject standards.
